Key Responsibilities
Supervise Logistics and Warehouse operations and report the day to day updates to the Logistics manager.
Supervise the Warehouse and Logistics team includes Logistics coordinators, Warehouse operatives, equipment’s operators and labors.
Supervise the import and export shipments and stock integrity of 3PL clients.
Determine proper manpower and equipment within the functional area based on the volume of work .
Monitor the work performance of the each Logistics coordinator to ensure that quality and quantity expectation are achieved. Provide on job training to ensure that they are prepared to meet the standards.
Troubleshooting operational & WMS issues.
Control & maintain the integrity of stock by conducting perpetual inventory cycle counts.
Focus on customer service, planning and coordination with customers as well as the team to meet the target and business demands
Review productivity, KPI and quality reports to ensure the team is meeting pre-established targets.
Take necessary counter measures to increase the work efficiencies and meet targets.
Attend customer meetings, review customer queries and submitting suggestions.
Preparing Quotations for Warehouse & Logistics Inquiries.
Planning & Implementing storage set up and operation workflow for new clients.
Experience in Automotive spare parts, FMCG, Perishable goods handling & warehousing.
Provide necessary reports to the Management & Clients
Conduct Site Surveys and execute onsite jobs.
Execute onsite handling jobs. Eg: Exhibitions and projects jobs.
Worked as Site supervisor for Exhibition jobs.
Major exhibitions handled. IDEX, Airshow Arab health, Doha Motor show etc..
Handle the warehouse & operation related supplies procurement.
Obtain quotations from suppliers and negotiate with supplier for price and quality.
Submit the purchase proposals, Quotations and PO to management for further approvals.
Projects Executed
PARIS GALLERY Warehousing : Worked as a key member in the Implementation of new Warehouse management system for Paris Gallery and execute the warehouse operation for one years ( 2008 to 2009)
DEWA central warehouse shifting: Worked as the Project team leader, Dewa Central warehouse shifting. Project period (July 2012 to October 2012)
Worked as Project team leader for Implement warehouse set up for international and UAE based clients. Eg. KOBELCO Cranes & excavators Parts (JAPAN), LEPRINO foods (USA), STAYCOLD / SCAN BOX ( UK ) etc..
Worked as Project team leader in Set up remote warehouse units for SMS GROUP at KIZAD, ABUDHABI.
Worked with Management for structure a new Purchase procedure and supervise the warehouse and operations related purchase.
The key responsibilities
Execute import and export Shipments as per the client instruction.
Coordinate with the warehouse team for the timely receiving of inbound shipments and preparation of exports.
Coordinate with Clearance and transportation team for the timely movements of shipments.
Update the stock transactions in the WMS .
Send goods receive confirmation and export proofs to clients
Control & maintain the integrity of stock by conducting perpetual inventory cycle counts.
Preparing essential shipping documents. i.e. preparation of invoice / packing list, customs declaration (Import bill, Export bills, BOE etc)
Managing customer complaints and submitting suggestions.
Work closely to achieve the KPI and targets
Execute monthly Billing & submission of invoice.
Prepare client wise KPI & revenue reports.
As a CRM they key responsibility was taking care the timely collection and delivery of 3PL clients shipments .
