Excellent knowledge of Refrigeration Engineering
Overall understanding of the project scope after reviewing the tender.
Conduct site visit and attend meetings with the client/consultant to obtain their requirements and necessary technical information concerning cold room dimensions, temperature, product load, etc.
Understanding the environmental guidelines and standards to be followed for designing the suitable system depending upon the location.
Carryout heat load calculation for the cold rooms and containers after gathering and analyzing required data.
Designing suitable commercial, rack and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning system using various selection softwares and in compliance with ASHRAE standards.
Selection of suitable refrigeration accessories and preparation of piping and instrumentation diagram.
Preparation of detailed bill of quantities and a cost estimation sheet based on previous costing sheet and arranging new quotation for materials from different suppliers.
Prepare offer for the design and construction work of the cold rooms.
Prepare and submit technical details concerning proposed materials to be used in the construction of the cold rooms.
Procure materials upon obtaining client’s approval on the offer and technical submittal submitted.
Coordinate with the project team and client in order to execute the project within the time frame agreed on.
Prepare handing over documents upon project completion.
Worked as Mechanical Design Engineer in HME Hilarion - Mechanical & Electrical Consulting Engineers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design of Wet Pipe Sprinkler System, Fire Hydrant System, Foam System for generator room, Water Spray System for LPG tank, Pre-Action System for freezer rooms, FM200 for UPS/Server Rooms, Sprinkler System for High Bay Rack Storage etc.
Design of HVAC system, Steam services and Compressed air services
Review and submission of shop drawings
Review and submission of Material Submittals
Attend technical meetings with Consultant/ Contractor
Submission of drawings and calculations for Civil Defense approval
