Job Responsibilities:

•Review WPS & PQR and witness inspection for Welder qualification test (WQT)/Procedure Qualification.
•Study various Piping & Structural Drawings and review them prior to approval.
•Identify sourcing for material, verify incoming sources and conduct periodic material inspection.
•Ensure Welding is as per approved Welding Procedure specification and Monitor Storage, handling and baking of Welding Consumable
•Carry out visual and dimensional checks of equipment, skid and structures as per approved drawings
•Perform Fit-up and welding/Final Inspections as per ITP to ensure conformance to respective codes.
•Steel Structural erection, orientation and elevation inspection as per drawing.
•Performing Bonding Inspection Glass Reinforced Epoxy Pipings.
•Performing Thickness survey of existing piping’s
•Monitoring & inspection of execution of steel structure works pertaining to Main pipe rack, unit Pipe racks, Equipment’s Structures.
•Carry out surveillance on Fabrication works, identify areas of non-conformance and raise NCRs upon non- conformances.
•Monitoring of Preheating, PWHT / NDT / Hardness Test, PMI Test, Ferrite test.
•Performing Visual Inspection of weld joints.
•Interpreting Radiographic films.
•Preparing test pack and witnessing hydro testing with clients.
•Performing all TIE IN inspection
•Co-Ordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
• Final documentation of completed jobs

Monitoring welder’s performance and conducting visual inspections of welds and repairs of welds in accordance with company procedures and international codes of practice.
•Profound knowledge in different welding processes like SMAW, GTAW and GMAW etc
•Familiarization of material inspection, dimensional check and documentation as per construction, Material standards .
•Welding inspection of various materials i. e.Carbon Steel, Low Temperature Carbon Steel (A333 Gr.6) Alloy Steel (A335-P5, P9, P11, and P22) and Stainless Steel (A 312 TP 316, 316L, 321) Inconel 600, 625, SDSS.
•Checking, inspecting and testing incoming welding and construction materials to ensure they meet project specification requirement.
•Monitoring construction process from all aspects to ensure performance meets job quality and design requirements in accordance with Company procedures and international standards.
•Coordinating with clients to undertake Procedure Qualification Tests (PQT) and inspections of prepared test specimens and witness destructive tests.
•Identifying and reviewing Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & PQR for jobs as per project specifications and verify Welders meet PQR requirements.
•Undertaking verification of welding machines to ensure equipment meets job requirements specification and providing verification of electrode baking and holding temperature including control and issue.
•Conducting fit up and dimension inspections as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and to provide technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control.
•Monitoring of Preheating, Welding and Weld Visual Inspection, PWHT / NDT / Hardness Test, PMI Test, Ferrite test etc and document verification
