 Determination of fuel costs in accordance with CERC tariff regulations and analysis of the components of the same and its impact on energy sales.
 Determination of marginal contribution and analysis of reasons for variance and the impact of unscheduled interchanges on the same. Analysis of individual contribution of various technical parameters like heat rate, auxiliary power consumption etc to the total contribution realized.
 Reconciliation of fuel costs as per books and fuel costs determined for energy billing.
 Involved in identifying strategies for commercially sensitive generation of power including analyzing the impact of operational parameters on costs & revenues.
 Preparation of statutory formats for energy billing to beneficiaries and determination of monthly fuel costs in accordance with CERC Tariff Regulations.
 Reconciliation of vendor balances with fuel suppliers, Railways and other vendors.

Budgeting and overheads control
 Preparation of monthly cost sheets projecting revenues and expenses for the month vis a vis targets set under Operation & Maintenance Budget and analyzing variances.
 Preparation of monthly Capex budget utilization reports including monthly reconciliation of funds and annual reconciliation with audited financial statements.

MIS and Reviews

 Member of Tender Opening Committees for award of contracts.
 Conducting monthly finance review meetings with senior management for review of financial performance and solving inter departmental issues.
