 Check all calculations submitted by the contractors QS relating to valuations and in particular to keep accurate records of completed works.
 Interim valuations and payment certificates
 Re-measure of works completed in accordance with the contract
 Maintain the progress schedule and cash flow chart.
 Preparation of Change Orders/Variation Orders.
 Prepare a BOQ Recapitulation
 Evaluate unit rates for new terms of work.
 Prepare Monthly Financial Report.
 Updating cost report

Preparation of tender and contract documents including bill of quantities cost estimates scope of work and general requirements of the contract.

Partial participation in evaluation of technical and commercial bids from the sub contractors and provide recommendation for award to the contract committee.

Preparation of monthly Interim valuations.

Correlating and monitoring site works vis-à-vis computed quantities and highlighting variations.

Co-ordination with consultants, architects.

Monitoring weekly and monthly progress reports.

Preparation of material reconciliation statements.

Site inspection and joint measurement for addition works

Shouldering the responsibility of preparing and monitoring project cash flow forecasts.
Managing the spectrum of valuations to clients and invoicing.
Handling ‘Evaluation of Sub-Contractors’ payment applications, issuing payment certificates
Liable for identification and preparation of Variation order/Claims
Liable to review and study contract documents
Looking after preparation of bill of quantity
Managing Quantity takeoff according to CESMM.
Responsible for reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.
Checking and measuring quantities as per drawings and specifications.
Accountable for preparing Rate analysis for various items of work as per the site instructions
