Project: Qatar Integrated Railway Project phase 1 Gold Line Metro Project comprising 13
underground stations including the Stabling yard, Emergency Exit, Central Cooling Plant
Building & Switch Box building and 16km of twin bore tunnels with cross passages.
Key responsibilities/Duties:
• Responsible for ensuring that internal DVE calculations are being undertaken in accordance with the project
requirements, that they are checked, and records are kept and maintained on PiMs.
• Responsible for ensuring that the Project Quality Procedures for calculations are being followed.
• Responsible for checking of DRSs and calculations in accordance with the Project Processes and
• Procedures and issuing DRS to the Package Managers or Discipline Lead.
• Monitor quality and highlight any issues to the discipline leads
• Checking all Engineering Instructions (EIs) and scope change requirements are incorporated in the Design Reviews
being undertaken.
• Checking that design reviews are coordinated against other disciplines.
• Reviewing Shop Drawings against certified Design drawings to confirm design intent is being maintained.
• Review Material Approval Requests (MARs) for Mechanical plant and Equipment and ensure that they are compliant
with the Contractual requirements and Design intent.
• Dealing with client, contractors and stakeholders to resolve comments/queries
• Preparation of Concept sketches based on Client requirement, site conditions, budget and local building regulations.
• Preparation of detailed Mechanical Building Services design, drawings and specifications.
• Tendering of Contracts including estimates & detailed price analysis in both pre and post-contractual stages.
• Review and forward any comments on the contractor’s method statement for installation, execution of the works, review and forward any comments on the contractor’s technical submittals.
• Review all construction documents and highlight any design and contractual discrepancies with the concerned
• To ensure project related installation and testing is in compliance with applicable standards and project specifications.
• Supervise the execution of works, both performed by subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures and verify that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and in the planned time frame.
• Promote safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected
• Attending regular meeting (on work progress, co-ordination design, etc.) with client and consultant to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective action
• Ensured Quality maintenance in all stages of construction and pre commissioning activities up to the completion and acceptance of project.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the approved method statements and shop drawings.
• Responsible for the review, approval and supervision of installations of various mechanical activities.
• Coordinate with the contractors and sub-contractors on all mechanical works and requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth flow of works.
• Review of all Shop Drawings and comment to resolve any discrepancies and errors noted.
• Review of materials submittals, Method Statements, Calculations etc.
• Resolve request for information’s (RFIs) rose by the contractors.
• Review of As-built drawings prepared by the contractors.
• Ensure that all mechanical installations are in compliance with the approved contract plans and specifications.
• Ensure that the contractors are complying with the safety requirements particularly in respect of all mechanical installations and procedures.
• Witness testing and commissioning of newly installed mechanical equipment.
• Preparation of engineering design and details of mechanical & HVAC.
• Check contract design and re-design if applicable.
• Attend site coordination meetings.
Responsibilities:
• Serving as a part of the Post-Contract Team supervising large confidential military installations for buildings and hangers at Al Udeid Airbase, Doha
• Handling a team of 10-15 members
• Involved design calculations (HVAC)

Client: Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation, Kahramaa, Qatar
Description: The project involved the construction of 66/11 KV Transformer Feeder Substations in various parts of Qatar. It included installation, testing & commissioning activities for the following systems:
o Heat Ventilation & Air Conditioning System
o Transformer Explosion Prevention System
o Deluge Water Spray System
o FM 200 System
o Plumbing & Drainage System
Projects Handled:
Title: Pearl Qatar-Bilal Tower & United Tower, Qatar Airways 4 Star Hotel, .
Clients: Qatar Airways, Baker Hughes, QP and UDC
Description:
o Coordination with the subcontractor of all the MEP activities for Mechanical systems such as HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing services.
o Studying the preliminary design drawings and signifying the appropriate changes required for the construction.
o Reviewing specifications and drawing
o Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly Report of MEP activities.
o Verification and reviewing percentages and progress of Subcontractor MEP
o Ensuring compliance of works to relevant international standards
o Coordinating with the Sub contractors for the engineering submissions to the client.

o Procuring and Supervision of erection, installation of the equipment’s like LOWARA, GRUNFOS pumps for various projects, Stainless steel pipes, GI pipes, Gate valves, Screen filter units, Sprayers, Sprinklers, Irrigation controllers, Flow sensors, Pulse Transmitters, Pulse Decoders, CCU, RCV’s, Isolation gate valves, UPVC Pipes, HDPE Pipes
o Responsible for maintenance and repair works for equipment’s in projects - AMIRI DEWAN, DASMAN PALACE, GUEST PALACE, PAAET ETC.
Project 1:
Provision of accommodation for officers at Naval Coast Battery, Visakhapatnam. Project period: 1999 to 2001.
o Construction of four storied RCC framed structures 8 blocks with all amenities such as :-
o HVAC system, Lift, external and internal water supplies, area drainage, sewage system
Project 2: Construction of married accommodation for navy staff at Dolphin Nose Vishakhapatnam. Project period: 2001 to 2003.
o RCC framed structures 3 storied with aminities such as HVAC system, external and internal water supplies. Eletrical services, Roads, Area Drainage and Sewage lines.
Project 3: Construction of pressure steam pipe lines at Naval Dock yard, Visakhapatnam. Project Period: 2003 to 2004.
o Provision of high pressure steam line with seamless pipes of Carbon steel of schedule 40, 1000Mtrs long, 200 dia .
o Condenser return pipe 100 mm dia, 1000Mtrs long.
o Low pressure pipe line 125mm dia, 800Mtrs long.
