Lead a team of Estimation Engineers and coordinate with Management.
Review Contract / Tender documents for each package & advise Estimation Manager for any deficiency.
Cost estimation & compiling Materials, Manpower, Equipment, Subcontracts, Overheads etc.
Co ordination with Design, Production, Procurement, QC & Planning departments for their feed back as required based on the need of the job.
Float Enquiries and evaluating the prices offered by different vendors with respect price, delivery & Validity.
Review the estimate with Division Head. Preparation of Technical and commercial proposal detailing scope of work, highlighting deviations, exclusions, clarifications etc. and compiling all the technical and commercial documents required with the bid.
Keeping updates of company norms & Implementation of Company practice in tendering.
Keeping updates of indirect & direct cost.
Evaluating competitive bids based on past experience & conventional methods.
Generating bid to budget after award of job.
Attending Technical/Commercial Meetings as & then required.
