Working for SATORP as a Site Superintendent Incharge (SSI) for Delayed Coker Unit, involving in installation of Equipment i.e. Coker Drums, Fractionator Column, Absorber Stripper, Debutanizer, Drums, Heat Exchangers, Filters, Tanks & Fin Fan Air Coolers. In Piping, involved for underground piping (RTR) above ground piping, carbon steel piping, Alloy steel piping, S.S piping. Reviewing the construction documents (work procedures, method statement, lifting plans, JSA, WPS and other associated. Monitoring / Supervision the Installation of Internals, i.e. trays in Columns and Drums. Monitoring / Supervision the Insulation of Equipment (Columns, drums, heat exchangers, filters) and piping. • COKER DRUMS
Installation / Insulation and preservation of Coker drums including Trunion cutting of drums.
• COLUMNS
Installation of columns, Fractionator, Debutanizer, Absorber Stripper, HCGO/LCGO, Stripper, Coker blow down tower, Sponge Absorber, Amine Contactor & Coke product gas amine scrubber. Procedures approval i.e. WPS Approvals for internals welding, Leak test procedure, and I am also monitoring in pre commissioning activities.
• AIR COOLERS
Installation of Air Fin coolers, preservation with nitrogen gas, pressure / strength testing of tube bundles and lay-up.
• HEAT EXCHANGERS
Installation of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, maintaining preservation with nitrogen gas and insulation work.
• Tanks
Construction of DECOKING WATER TANK & SLUDE TANK, Hydro test (Gravity filled) of Tanks painting and rake assembly installation.
• FILTERS
Installation of Filters and insulation of Filters.
SR, MECHANICAL INSPECTOR (SMP-Hussein Inspection) for SUPPORT PROJECTS L & I DIVISION, PETRO RABIGH, QA TEAM of JV Directorate-3.
• This is the first phase of the Petro Rabigh ( PHASE -I )
• The project involves nine main packages each having EPC contractor and sub contractors. The packages are 1) Refining, 2) Olefins, 3) PC 1& 3 for Polymers, 4) PC 2 for monomers, 5) UOU & 6) UO1-for Utilities & Interface, 7) UO2 Tank age, 8) XPL- Pipe Line, 9) YPL - Gas Compression facility for Yanbu NGL Plant.
• Involved in the Petrochemical tank age inspection and Installation of shipment filters at Marine area.
• Involved to carry additional inspection activities in the Rabigh Conversion Industrial Park which includes utilities water lines (Raw water, sever water Etc., ) Carbon Steel, RTR Piping, Cement Lined Pipe lines and HVAC for the buildings.
• Review the PQR (Project Quality Review) of each project. Reviewing the quality documentation procedures, Field modification changes, Organization chart, implantation of training programme, NCRs, Special procedures, Calibration of the Equipment and devices, Traceability of the materials and the Equipment’ and checklist as per approved quality plan in the office and visiting the for field observation. The purpose of this Quality Review was to determine if contractor has implanted and is complying with their published and approved quality plan, quality procedures and requirements on the site for construction and installation of piping and equipment.
• Installation of static equipment as heat exchangers, drums, reactors, vessels, horizontal and vertical, checking the alignment reports and related piping.
• Attending weekly internal meetings with our QA TEAM.
• The job involves mainly to monitoring that the contractors are implementing the quality system, procedures, execution during construction phase, pre commissioning and commissioning activities as per approved ITP and Quality plan.
