Duties and responsibilities.
• Install, operate and conduct preventive maintenance of machines such as, crushers, conveyors, filling machines, air compressor, air conditioning units, centrifugal motor and induction motor, mixer motor, printing machine.
• Maintain checks, repair and test electrical motors, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems. ○ check and replace bearing, greasing, leaks for hydraulic and pneumatic control machines.
• Test, examine, replace or repair electrical wirings, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical and electronic components. ○ Before work starts, survey area to determine hazards present and provide safeguards for all personnel and equipment. ○ Examine carefully the defective component and determine the possible source of breakdown. ○ Adjust components and repair or replace defective parts.
• Execution of all maintenance and operation of machines and equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations with full compliance to SOPs and safety rules and regulations.
• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial equipment and machinery such as pumps, motors, conveyors and generators to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, examine, install, maintain and adjust machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Assembly and operate machinery and equipment prior to installation or during maintenance or set up of machines.
• Assemble prior to installation or during maintenance or set up of machinery using hand and power tools, welding, acetylene equipment to fabricate parts required.
• Operate lifting devices to position machinery and parts using forklifts, man lifts. Develop a system of recording on machine history.
• Confer status of facility and confirm that check lists are filled up properly.
• Perform tests according to technical manuals and written instructions.
• Perform plumbing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, plumbing, fabrication and other civil work. ○ Maintain and paint building of facility equipment. ○ Excavates and concretizes pathways. ○ Perform plumbing and other civil works. ○ weekly preventive maintenance schedules of repair.
• Prepare weekly machine status and downtime reporting .
• Prepare progress reports if needed.
• Generate standard operating procedures of machinery .
• Develop and implement a system of recording of each machine, purpose of machine standard and specification, operating conditions procedures, responsible personnel, safety, date of calibration and other relevant information.
• Revise and produce a checksheet if necessary.
• Supervise the work of contractor technicians and evaluate their performance relative to
company standards and expectations.
• Check stock of spare parts and purchases required as necessary.
• Check the weekly job schedule.
• Report all work done in the daily activity report and copy furnished section heads concerned.
• Confer and read turn over of the previous shift.
• Implante housekeeping in the workshop.
