In charge and coordinate all submittals, installation and shop drawings for the complete Mechanical system in the project
General supervision and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction sites
Monitor, verify, and document the work being performed through site engineers.
To ensure proper implementation of design at site.
Provide technical assistance to the construction team as needed.
Generate/Review material requisitions, submittals, and ensure contract performance measures are met.
Ensure that all mechanical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specification and work plan
Coordinate with other engineering discipline • Assist the Project Manager in all his responsibilities as required.
Evaluate the project construction to ensure compliance with standards for mechanical systems.
Serve as the Site Representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of mechanical works.
Receive/action Request for Information (RFI) that apply to mechanical works. Review the responses for adequacy.
Preparation of installation method statements in coordination with the QA/QC representatives and check the prepared documents.
Advice the QC personals for the ITP interference points.
Handle the complete Mechanical installation, testing, commissioning (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, other specific mechanical activities)
Plan, review, and coordinate design and construction operations to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications
Liaise with local authorities such as municipality, civil defense and ministerial agencies having jurisdiction over the project in the absence of Project Manager
Investigate equipment and system failures or unexpected maintenance problems
Expertise in Design, Installation of HVAC systems.
Specialized in design & installation of Car Park Ventilation, Staircase & Lift Pressurization System, Exhaust systems and Smoke Management system.
Skilled in preparing Heat Load Estimation, Equipment Sizing & its Selections, Duct & Pipe Sizing and its layout, ESP Calculations, Air terminal selections etc.
Having keen knowledge in design & Installation of VRF Systems. Preparing Tree diagrams, Auto Piping using LATS Multi software.
Providing work guidance for brazing techniques, Installation and Testing & commissioning using Multi-V Kit & its Software.
Knowledge in BMS Integration and Grouping Equipments using the Room/Central Controllers.
Familiar with International Standards like ASHARE, SMACNA, NFPA, NPC, DW, BS, ANSI and the regulations of Local Authorities.
Assisting drafting team to prepare proper HVAC Layout and the required quantification works.
