Providing financial advisory services for a mix of clients, including Top Tier Consulting firms in the UAE on a contract basis predominantly for Renewable Energy projects.
Review of financial models for tenders valued in excess of AED2billion. This includes testing algorithms and calculations including macros, sensitivities analysis, review against terms sheet, purchasing agreements and other contracts.
Analysis of cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, coverage ratios and other ratios related to financial covenants.

Business valuations in excess of AED400m. This included detailed analysis of business fundamentals, financial statements, desktop review of market dynamics and competitors, recent transactions and development of suitable valuation multiples. - Identification and evaluation of new business opportunities (predominately unregulated utility industries including gas separation, telecom, waste disposal, conveyor belts, etc.)
- Renegotiation of existing contracts (savings in excess of AED2m per annum achieved)

The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) is responsible for planning and executing all transport and traffic related projects in Dubai. Key projects include the construction of the Dubai Metro and further development of other public transport modes, including buses and abras.
Primary Responsibilities and Achievements
- Project Manager for one of RTA’s largest contracts (>USD400m). This included managing strategic, technical, tactical, commercial as well as contractual aspects;
Evaluation, analysis and implementation of investment opportunities in connection with the Dubai Metro. This included the development of project plans and setting specific performance criteria;
- Provision of expert commercial, financial and strategic advice to senior executives;
Management of financial analysis of RfP submissions for Real Estate development projects including presentation / advisory to the Chairman of the RTA;
- Provision of expert advice during all stages of the procurement process;
- Financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting;
- Development of feasibility studies which have been endorsed by the Board of Directors;
- Market research to identify new investment opportunities;

Key tasks involved reviewing and testing of financial models, reconciling models against term sheets, project deed and undertaking sensitivity analysis to test the robustness of the proposal;
- Successful organisation and management of national Market Sounding Meetings and development of Market Sounding Report;
- Timely and successful development of Expression of Interest document for the procurement of Toll road Service Provider (valued at AUD$200m);
- Management of evaluation process of Expression of Interests for the Procurement of seven schools through a Public Private Partnership model (project valued in excess of $250 million);
