• To lead, define and implement proper operations base that covers all concerned parties such as internal contacts, forwarding companies, clearing agents, insurance companies, warehousing facilities and land transport services.

• Managing directly high calibre team of 9 staff & indirectly 26 staff from warehouse and transportation fleet and overseeing day to day operation that includes imports and exports of approximately 450 shipments per month.
• Interact, liaise and maintain good relationship with Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, Dubai chambers of commerce and other government bodies.
• To examine and approve the forwarders and 3PL service provider invoices.
• Assess constantly the logistics network ensuring optimal service to the business.
• Analyse/solve logistical issues, conduct feasibility studies and prepare supply chain simulation for the new brands/products to be launched into UAE.
• Ensure that the operations are compliant as per Dubai customs and in line with the company policies and procedures.
• Managing performance, developing and motivating employees, conducting performance reviews in order to ensure that the highest levels of performance are achieved.
• Managed the critical imports of new shop opening fit out, furniture, fixtures and ensure that the delivery deadlines are met.
• Was responsible of handling the shipping for the end of season garment returns from GCC stores to the outlet stores in UAE.
• Prepare management information reports and liaise with senior management to understand the on going business plans and developments.
MASTERS IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION – Specialised in International Business (From Institute of International Business and Research, Pune-India), 2000-2002. Internship done at Sesa Goa Ltd, India in 2001 and did a study on the Iron Ore Mining Industry in India and its export volumes worldwide
