Periodic testing and maintenance of instrument washer disinfectors, sterilisers, endoscopy and ultrasonic bath to Annual Level;
Health and safety, record keeping, reprocessing of medical devices, data logger calibration and operation, maintenance checks and periodic testing requirement of washer disinfectors as defined in HTM01-01, HTM 2030, and the current European standards;
Testing, maintenance, calibration, data logging and record keeping of Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) machines.
In-charge of decontamination (i.e., testing for presence of germs) of hospital and ward equipment based on NHS standards and guidelines;
Delegation of work to staff and other subordinates in the decontamination department and make sure they are in accordance with the NHS guidelines;
Maintenance of hospital equipment and its delivery and set-up to community patients based on NHS standards and guidelines;
Making sure all staff are properly trained and wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment;
In-charge of the purchase and order of stocks
