CP22 Utilities Connectivity Package for Um Al-Houl (Qatar Economic Zone 3.)
•Studying and identifying risks, evaluating, and the execution control on all tasks for the Construction of Roads and utilities for both the Employer Design and the Design and Built Areas. Employer Design involves a successful execution of over 100 km of Mechanical and Electrical utilities. Design and Built involves 18 structures including Portable Reservoir Pump Stations, Fire Water Reservoir Pump Stations and TSE Reservoir Pump Stations with associated buildings.
•Played an important role in problem solving, liaison with client's representative, attending client's meetings and preparing of client's reports and presentations.
•Reviewed cost estimates, cost analysis and budgets for construction activities for the project with projected forecasts.
•Involved in subcontractor selection, monitored performance and controlled work plans and schedules.
•Successfully managed construction teams and the subcontracted works. Document reviews, developed and initiated site-specific safety plans including an

•accident-free safe work environment. Led, assisted and supported construction teams to ensure deliverable processes on time and within the budgeted costs.
•Prepared and/or reviewed detailed project reports for the client including work schedules, deviations, customer issues and other related problems.

requirements for the Client.

Upgrading of Road D769 from Mumbwa/Itezhi Tezhi junction on M009 to Itezhi Tezhi (109km) Including 2.2km of the Inkonkaile to Itezhi-Tezhi Boma Access Road in Central Province
• Established the site (Preparing residential compounds and borrow areas for road
materials for the 112km road).
• Interpreted drawings and monitored the execution of tasks.
• Managed measurements, quantities as well as preparing and submitting Interim
and Final Payment Applications for Consultant and Client's approval.
• Smoothly supervised Eight drainage works Sub-Contractors checked
measurements and payment applications for their interim and final works.
• Forecasted and monitored project budgets in line with the overall project budget
for both self-delivered and Sub-Contracted works.
• Ensured safety procedures were enforced in the project, and proactively
implemented safety measures as needed.
• Measured the variations and estimated the costs. Two VO were awarded with a total
cost of USD 6.5 million.
• Assisted in writing letters, memos, contracts, change orders, and other documents
related to the project.
• Attended client meetings and prepared progress reports.
Participated in the vendor rating program, preparing and presenting reports,
programs, schedules. My project scored a top mark of (79%) in the region under
Zambia Roads Authority.
Upgrading the existing main Road of approximately 134.86 km in length from a cross section of 6.7 m wide sealed carriageway and 2 X 0.5 m gravel shoulders to a modified road type of 7.4 m surfaced carriageway with 2 X 2m surfaced shoulders.
•Responsible for the day to day project measurements and quantities, preparation of backups for claims and Project Payment Applications.
•Checked and certified Interim and Final Payment Applications for Sub-Contractors prior to Project Manager's final approval.
•Oversaw earth moving plant, planned and controlled haulage of materials quantities- sub grade, stabilized sub-base and crushed stone base materials.
•Prepared construction budgets, analyzing project plans while updating specification and projecting costs for each activity.
•Prepared monthly progress reports for the Client.
•Supervised asphalt works by Sub-Contractor for 135km of Road.
i) Construction of 30km of Roads, Storm Water, Water and Sewer Reticulation Services for Kasane Plateau and Kazungula CBD Phase II.
•Directly supervised haulage of approximately 600 000 tons of gravel materials and fast-tracked a project that was five months behind schedule and brought it to completion on schedule.
•Assisted the Project Manager with weekly and monthly progress monitoring and reports for Client meetings.
•Responsible for the full operations and day to day execution of works on site, liaison with client's representative, identifying and solving problems on site. ii) Construction of 28km of Sealed Internal Roads, Storm Water and Terminal Building in Gumare.
•Moved approximately 530tons of gravel base, sub-base and sub-grade for the construction of roads, drainage and the terminal building.
•Laid 13000 tons of double seal surface treatment for the 28 km internal roads. Received additional $120k to support project efforts by effectively communicating

•project requirements to leadership. Trained and mentored junior engineers on sand pre-collapsing methods on the arterial loop road during construction on desert sands, using an impact roller method.
Debswana Jwaneng Mine Tailings Dam Raising. Assisted the project Manager with the execution of Jwaneng mine tailing dam wall raising, including maintenance of internal roads in the Blue and Green Area Zones.
•Supervised earth excavation and haulage of approximately 4 100 000 tons of earth moving materials during raising of dams 3, 4, 6 and 8.
•Prepared daily and monthly reports.
•Prepared daily and monthly programs for teams and monitored construction works.
•Attended meetings with client. Reviewed contract documents, construction drawings, and monitored execution of

i) Construction of a total of 35km of internal roads with associated storm water, water and sewer reticulation services for the new residential plots. ii) Construction of roads, storm water, water and sewer reticulation for Ascot infill in Gweru.
