Detailed study of scope of work, specification, Equipment Schedule, BOQ (Tender), etc.
Supervises the installation of all Electrical works such as lighting, power, MV, LV and ELV systems like fire alarm, CCTV, BMS, IPTV & DMS system, Data & Telephone, Access Control system, lighting control system, RMS, QMS, etc. as per the standard norms.
Prepares work Method Statement as per the specification and standards.
Finalizes and prepares detailed site quantities requirement based on the consultant approved drawings.
Requesting the required materials and following up with the suppliers/subcontractors.
Prepares Bill of Quantities and submits the enquiries to the Vendors.
Mobilizes manpower for the execution of the project
Manages all the maintenance works for LV & ELV systems in site and site office.
Finalizes and designs electrical System according to the site work instruction and actual load of all the equipments used in work site and prepares all documents required for variations.
Prepares workshop drawing and material submittal for consultant approvals.
Raises request to consultant for inspection of installations and materials and rectifies snag work or comments (if any).
Monitors the work progress on Daily and Weekly basis and prepares Monthly Progress Report for client, Consultant and Project Manager.
Prepares daily and weekly program, based on one month look ahead schedule.
Coordinates with other departments such as Architectural, Mechanical, civil, QA/QC, GSAS etc. if required for successful completion of the project.
Coordinates with sub-contractors and suppliers during the execution of the project.
Attends the weekly site meetings with client, consultant and sub-contractors
Finalizes and prepares all necessary MEP services documents required for handing over the project
Review of Project documents like IFC drawings, Specifications & B.O.Q before to start execution of works at site.
Evaluation/Preparation of Vendor/Subcontractor prequalification documents of MEP activities for Consultant/Client approval.
Preparation/Verifying/checking the technical submittals in compliance with Project specifications.
Assist and coordinate with Purchase department for the procurement of project related materials as per the specifications.
Prepare procurement schedule for long lead items in coordination with purchase department and monitoring the timely delivery of long lead items.
Preparation of shop drawings in coordination with mechanical and other services, giving technical inputs and country local standards to draughtsman for making drawings.
Responsible to plan, develop, coordinate erection of Transformers, MV Panels, LV panels like MSB, SMSB, SMDB & DB.
Supervise the installation of the Transformers, MV & LV panels, Lighting, Small power etc;
Ensure the construction activities comply with approved design and plans.
Coordinate with Architect, Consultant and Client on a day to day basis for project requirements.
Handling the Site Supervisors, Foreman and Subcontractors.
Plan and arrange manpower and materials for the day to day activities at site.
Maintaining the shop drawing and material logs and making daily work progress report, weekly reports and submit the reports to Project Manager - MEP/MEP Manager for review.
Preparation of punch list/snag list and ensuring every punch points are closed prior to the completion
Verify the As-built drawing prior to the submission for the client/consultant’s approval.
Preparation and verification of project dossier documents as per the project specifications.
Performing electrical maintenance of 8x16MW Wartsila (18V46C) Finland make Diesel Generator.
Servicing of Engine Protection System like Oil Mist Detector, Over Speed Trip Device, Pressure Relief Valve etc.
Supervising Fuel treatment (LSHS) in Electric plant and conducting study on efficiency.
Identifying and rectifying errors in sensor equipment.
Periodic Maintenance of Charge Air System.
Preparing detailed Maintenance Schedules of the Plant.
Plant Fire Fighting System.
Exhaust gas boiler (Type AV6N) and accessories.
