* Supervise technically and non-technically, work with the team to
execute the work for distribution cable laying, transformer
installation, FSFP installation, Substation Earthing, VCB Panel
installation and execution, reviewing of distribution system and
regularly synchronize the information in team. Weekly meeting to
achieve the goal of project and work requirement. Preparation of all
permit and material, manpower, equipment and necessary
approvals.
* Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or
topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations
conform to standards and customer requirements.
* Coordinate with engineers, planners, field personnel, or other utility
workers to provide information such as clearances, switching orders,
or distribution process changes.
* Respond to emergencies, such as transformer or transmission line
failures, and route current around affected areas.
* Distribute or regulate the flow of power between entities, such as
generating stations, substations, distribution lines, or users, keeping
track of the status of circuits or connections.
* Manipulate controls to adjust or activate power distribution
equipment or machines.
* Prepare switching orders that will isolate work areas without
causing power outages, referring to drawings of power systems.
* Control, monitor, or operate equipment that regulates or distributes
electricity or steam, using data obtained from instruments or
computers.
* Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or
potential engineering projects.
* Develop budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs.
* Supervise or train project team members as necessary.
* Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure
conformance to design and equipment specifications and
compliance with operational and safety standards.
* Construct, test, maintain, and repair substation relay and control
systems.
* Inspect and test equipment and circuits to identify malfunctions or
defects, using wiring diagrams and testing devices such as
ohmmeters, voltmeters, or ammeters.
* Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering
personnel in order to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems
and to determine optimum equipment functioning.
* Notify facility personnel of equipment shutdowns.
* Open and close switches to isolate defective relays; then perform
adjustments or repairs.
* Prepare and maintain records detailing tests, repairs, and
maintenance.
* Analyze test data in order to diagnose malfunctions, to determine
performance characteristics of systems, and to evaluate effects of
system modifications.
* Test insulators and bushings of equipment by inducing voltage
across insulation, testing current, and calculating insulation loss.
* Repair, replace, and clean equipment and components such as
circuit breakers, brushes, and commutators.
* Disconnect voltage regulators, bolts, and screws, and connect
replacement regulators to high-voltage lines.
* Schedule and supervise the construction and testing of special
devices and the implementation of unique monitoring or control
systems.
* Run signal quality and connectivity tests for individual cables, and
record results.
* Schedule and supervise splicing or termination of cables in color-
code order.
* Test oil in circuit breakers and transformers for dielectric strength,
refilling oil periodically.
* Conduct or supervise the installation and operation of electronic
equipment and systems.
* Inspect newly installed equipment to adjust or correct operating
problems.
