Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules, Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, responsible for manufacturing sub- contractors activities and ensure that production fit with standards, provide logistics services related to the project .
- Complies with the prescriptions of the quality, environmental and complaint management system
- Ensure a safe and secure operation Airport, and enhance the quality of service provided to passengers, users, partners and stakeholders.
-Solves the problems within the capabilities and report to the higher level the problems exceeding the responsibility
-Helps to define and submit the need for some maintenance actions
-Records log all the reported technical errors to the Technical supervisor reports and to the technical log book
-Initiates daily operation procedures and makes proposals to improve the technical activities of the Airport
- Performs daily tours/checks in the terminals
-Prepare and send a daily reports to the Airport TLM & ADM with full accuracy
-Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct manager as the job requires
-Direct In charge for ( GE Vendor ) centrifugal Compressors activities .
-Coordinates and monitors the activities of assigned contractors performing work within
each disciplines (Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Steel Structure, Electrical,
Instrument, Painting, Insulation, Material Control, Field Control, etc..) and ensures
compliance with project safety, quality, schedule, cost and security requirements.
‐ Works closely with all the area superintendents to coordinate the construction activities.
‐ Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project making
safety a natural part of all work performed.
‐ Responsible for assisting in establishing requirements thru the contractors execution plan
and undertaking feasibility studies.
‐ Monitors the activities of assigned contractors performing work in coordination with the
contracts administration group.
‐ Responsible for participating in risk and value management in regards to cost and
schedule control.
-Supervising and managing stationary and rotary heavy equipments for preparation, erection, installation, alignment, inspection and grouting in addition to paper work and document control.
-Directly involved with pre-commissioning mechanical activities ( flushing, air blowing, motor testing )
Practical training is a required course from the university to graduate
