• Supervising the finance department. Responsible for Cost control, Entire Working capital management, funding capex and opex, payroll accounting, asset control & banking (loans).

• Was responsible for implementation of a cutting edge ERP solution customised to Jotun’s global needs.
• Idea : “Think Globally”, “Act Locally”. Reported to the IT-IS director.
• Communicated with entire international finance management team on financial, reporting, controllership and legal issues.
A very challenging and interesting position where a variety of issues like
- Needs of business - Where are my KPI?,
- Demands of law - Did the VAT get computed right? and
- Requirements of accounting - Did we value the stock properly? Etc have to be balanced along with change management and process improvements
• Implemented (ERP) Finance Module in units at UK, USA, Singapore, Malaysia and across 5 countries in MENA region (Middle East North Africa).
• Understanding the entire value chain. Looking for process standardization, optimisation & re-engineering where needed.
• Proven ability to manage, adapt, focus and deliver in a challenging, multi disciplined environment.
• Handling Implementation & change management. Skilled in optimising team potential whilst promoting best practice. Integrating business control, reporting and accounting needs.
