Overseeing and coordinating with all VIP guests on arrival and departure.
Checking the rooms physically which are allocated for VIP/ Special guests, whether their preference has been placed, and special requests have been taken care of.
Allocating rooms for the arriving VIP/ Special guests according to their preferences.
Arranging for In room check-in for VIP/Special guests.
Check on VIP guests movements and complete their Pre registration activities.
Actively listening and handling guest complaints, and concerns in an efficient and timely manner and to do any possible first hand recovery steps.
Coordinating with Housekeeping team for clearing of rooms.
Responding to the guests questions, requests and anticipating their unstated needs. Following up with the guests to ensure their requests have been met to their satisfaction.
Coordinating and managing communication between guests and staffs.
Assisting guests to celebrate their special days/ occasions by doing special arrangements.
Taking care of special amenities/arrangements, and coordinating with concerned departments to ensure its placement in the room.
I am working as an Industrial Trainee at JW Marriott, Kolkata, West Bengal in all the four core departments - Food and Beverage Service, Food Production, Housekeeping and Front Office.
