• Overall Laboratory Operation management like planning, work allocation, in time testing, report generation, investigation, CAPA and trouble shooting
• Development and validation of test methods (Standard, customer, in house etc.)
• Review all the tests are performed as per the approved methods.
• Responsible to implement any new test method and process.
• Ensure that latest version of test standards are followed in the laboratory.
• Prepare, meet and follow up on meetings with decision makers in our clients organizations.
• Ensure sales process from the first meeting to contract signature-close deals.
• Ensure growth and strength of the company's web of influence.
• Transform opportunities if business wins and successfully hand over new contracts to operations.
• Seek new ways to drive revenue and maximize sales by implementing innovative &transformational ideas.
• Responsible for review and approval of final test report
• Ensuring laboratory is in line with quality system implementation and adherence as per ISO /IEC 17025 all the time in day to day operation.
• For all non-conformance/deviations and customer complaints perform investigations and take necessary action as per quality system
• Monitoring TAT of the Lab on daily basis.
• Resource management: Maintaining optimum laboratory productivity by monitoring workload of functional areas; identifying peak and slack periods; making operational or resource optimisation.
• Recruitment of all technical & Supportive manpower
• Ensure implementation of management system in lab.
• Ensure competences, quality & integrity in all activities.
• Responsible for approving withdrawal of test reports.
• Monitoring customer complaints and ensuring closure with effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Management of resource training: Provide technical training and its authorization.
• Review and assessment of performance of the staff members.
• Supporting BD & Sales for responding to new queries and development of the capability.
• To provide Technical support and address technical issues.
• To work in coordination with finance and purchase team for procurement
• Procedures and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at the laboratory and necessary predefined MIS reports.
• Ensuring that confidentiality and integrity is maintained at all times in the laboratory.
• Ensuring traceability of all reference materials and calibration of equipment.
• Ensuring all the laboratory instruments are maintained and calibrated as per predefined periodic frequencies.
• Communicating to QM in Quality related issues.
