Client: Level3 communications Inc. USA.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Creation: Includes creation of WAP/MOP-SOW/System Plan and any other requests (GCR/Facilities).
2. Project Engineering: TNE WO/ Remedy Site Package updating.
3. Material procurement and verification: Raising Part Requests/ordering and verification of materials needed.
4. Project Co-ordination: Constant interaction with various groups (Testing/facilities/OSP/WFM/TNOC/Planning/Provisioning/Project Management/3help support) involved in project completion.
5. Project Tracking & Closure: Follow up of projects till the closure within the SLA.
Tools: TNE, Granite, Clarify, BPM, Netbuild, Netsmart, Remedy, Circuit Vision, and ICG Granite.
• Working with the client “Level 3 Communications, USA” as a part of Capacity management and Transport Engineering team which comes under Service Activation.
• Our process aims at providing the required bandwidth for Level3’s Customers (Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, Qwest etc.) by the addition of ADMs and optical/electrical cards in different ADMs(Lucent, Fujitsu, Cisco, Ciena, Nortel ADMs) in Level3’s Network.
• We work on IMTs and ring design also.
For Feb 2009:
Job Title: TNT Tester (Network Testing).
Responsibilities:
• Working with the client “Level 3 Communications, USA” as a part of TNT team.
• Configuration & Provisioning of Level3 SONET Circuits as per the design.
• End to end circuit testing with Test pattern and Loop back testing.
• Disconnect of Circuits.
• Working with other operators for end to end testing of the circuits.
• Ensure on time task completion from our end within SLA limits.
• Training to subordinates about new technology and Processes.
• Real time closure of Order Handling System (CLARIFY Software) tasks.
• Real time updating of Network Management Systems. (EMS/NMS) of different vendor like Nortel, Lucent, Ciena.
• Input to team performance statistics and reports.
• Interfacing with peer groups like Capacity Management, Design and Planning & Field Teams within Level3.
• Interacting with Level3 teams to meet various requirements.
Bandwidth handled: DS3, OC3, OC12 and OC48. (OCn ~SONET Standard)
Tools: Clarify Order Management; Nextgen as Database tool; Trailblazer for configuration in NMS.
NMS/EMS Handling:
• Alcatel 1631 and Titan 5500 with TL1 commands.
• Lucent Wavestar for Lucent DMX.
• Ciena Node manager for Ciena Core-Director.
• Nortel Preside for Nortel LH.

Job Title: Juniper Technical Support L2 Engineer
Client: Juniper Networks Inc.
Responsibilities:
• Live troubleshooting of network issues involving Juniper Firewalls for global customers.
• Helping to configure various features on firewalls for customers.
• Customer handling and case management.
• Creation of RMAs for firewall replacements and co-ordination with Customer care and Logistics team.
• Value adds to Junipers Knowledge Base by documenting known issues/solutions/configuration/troubleshooting steps in the form of KB articles.
• Had given the responsibility of shift lead for the month of February and March.
• Had worked on SSG5, SSG20, SSG140, SSG320/M, SSG550/M, NS5s, NS50, NS208 .
• Currently working on high end firewalls - ISG and NS500/NS5200/NS5400 for business critical customers.
• Worked on IPsec VPN issues, NSRP issues, Multicast issues, BGP and OSPF issues, Screening issues etc.
