1- Cataloguing and classification of various information resources in Arabic and foreign languages according to Anglo American Cataloguing rules and Dewey decimal classification system.
2- Collections development of Learning Resource Center in coordination with the school administration and consultation with teachers in order to support and enhance the curriculum.
3- Teach students how to use the Learning Resource Center and how to use the library catalog and international classification systems such as the Dewey Decimal Classification and library of congress classification .
4- Supervision of the reading classes and follow-up of students during class readings.
5- Provide reading guidance to students and train them on how to use information resources and gain self-learning skills.
6- Training students to scientific research skills and how to prepare scientific research.
7- Training students in the use of computer and Internet search skills.
8- Encourage students to free reading and definition of their importance in educational process .
9- Organizing internal cultural competitions and participate in external competitions on the country level to encourage students reading.
10- Organizing cultural lectures to introduce students to the importance of reading and learning resource center.
11- Organizing cultural trips for public libraries and museums to introduce students cultural institutions in the country.
12- Supervision of school podcasting programs related to learning Resources center activities
13- Establish the Learning Resources Center group and supervision of activities and their own programs.
14- Provide external loan services to teachers and students, and follow-up borrowed books and honor outstanding students.

15- Participation in national occasions of the United Arab Emirates in order to strengthen national identity and raising the patriotism of students.
