Duties & Responsibilities

 Review & check created notifications for proper parameters.
 Visit jobsite whenever possible to determine job description accuracy and job requirements.
 Generating orders according to notification specification to the maintenance systems.
 Plans and estimates work orders by determining job requirements, breaking the job down into sequential steps/operations and identifying the materials, special tools and equipment required to do the job.
 Coordinates acquisition of resources with Materials, Equipment Services and others.
Initiates a Service Order as required
 Prepares weekly and daily schedules by reviewing backlog and coordinating work requirements with Operations.
 Supporting to routine and preventive maintenance functions in formulating the bidding strategy/Procurement Plan and coordinate with the proponent maintenance Discipline/Unit in developing scopes of work/services for maintenance.
 Follow up with crafts on job sites.
Updates work order status as to whether jobs are workable or unworkable, percent completed, estimated completion date, reasons for delay and other pertinent information.
 Provides feedback on area performance by providing reports and monitoring charts on key indicators.
Close the job when completed by (TECO) the work order and remove it from the schedule.
 Participating daily meeting with Business Team management for any site issues and plans repair activities accordingly.
 Accountable for reviewing the technical design packages of TSR (capital & expense projects)and MOC Projects for installation of new Equipments and piping.
 Research, validate and introduce best mechanical predictive & preventive maintenance practices and techniques conducive to the organization.
 Working for Cost Control to ensure best application of integrated project control.
 Responsible for all activities related to Maintenance/ projects.
 Developing systematic technical evaluation methodology and criteria, preliminary cost estimation procedures and variation order procedures for maintenance contracts and ensure proper application of these criteria and procedures.
 Performing all administrative activities relating to the preparation and finalization of RFQ packages working in close collaboration with MSPD, including attending pre-tender meetings, answering questions and queries relating to the RFQ issued, participate in the technical bid evaluation, assessing contractors’ capabilities, and ensuring that all Contractors’ work performance and activities are in accordance with SAMREF regulations and quality standards.

 Provide technical clarification to contractor on the basis of Construction package and seek information from Project engineer on an on-going basis.
 Reviewing observations and comments shall be issued officially through inter-office correspondence to Projects Supervisor from the desk of the PPC Superintendent.

 Review and recommend mechanical initiatives for anticipating and preventing equipment failure to maintain availability and to avoid catastrophic breakdowns, thereby reducing overall cost for workforce and material.
 Team member for process hazard analysis study for any change or new procurement.
 Team member for developing/ revising the Equipment Strategies for the fixed equipments and piping based on ExxonMobil’s Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology.
