>Overall responsibility to manage receivables and reduce the company’s DSO.
>Training, developing and managing the credit control team.
>Reviewing and approving credit limit proposals using quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine applicant’s creditworthiness.
>Implementing and monitoring of processes prescribed in company’s credit policy.
>Monthly analysis of credit exposure to determine credit risk and compliance with the company's credit policy.
>Providing debt & risk information to Head of Business Units in weekly debtors meetings and initiating necessary actions.
>Developing and enhancing credit and collection processes.
>Preparing and circulation of monthly collection targets and KPI’s for credit control team.
>Follow-up court cases with Legal Department and assist with all necessary information.
>Circulating the weekly expected collections report to treasury team to determine the company’s cash flow position.
>Leading, directing and managing a team of AR Accountants and Finance Coordinators within the Credit Control Department.
>Prepare a receivables management plan that includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• The evaluation/analysis of overdue monitoring.
• Policies, process and an action plan for recoveries.
• Effective & pro active communication with the CRM /Legal & Admin.
• Identify control weakness, provide solutions, and ensure follow up.
>Investigate disputed claims, unallocated credits & long outstanding receivables.
>Ensure that customers strictly adhere to the credit terms prescribed which will assists the team in reaching the target DSO.
>Establish procedures & Plan collection strategies with CRM to initiate advance payment options.
>Weekly & monthly review of outstanding. monthly analysis & forecast of the Receivables. establish and attend regular inter departmental meetings to provide support and resolution of issues agreed/identified.
>Preparing and reviewing MIS reports, budget comparisons and other analytical reports.
>Audit and necessitate backup documents for new business.
>Market research on customers to redesign payment options.
>Develop and implement standard operating process for the company A/R.
>Training and development of team members
>Ensuring aged debts are passed to collection agencies or legal action
>Providing weekly debt & risk information to Sales Team
>Reviewing the company’s credit policy & procedure and to develop and implement enhancements where required.
>Overall responsibility for company’s accounts receivable.
>Forecast & achieve Cash flow.
>Initiate meetings to resolve A/R disputes.
>Formulate and distribute strategic A/R reports to management.
>Supervising & approving of invoices as per company guidelines.
>Represent business unit for all A/R topics at head office.
>Identify problems, recommend remedies & ensure timely follow up to resolve the problems & issues thus ensuring premium after sales customer service.
>Authenticate & control credit notes issuance so that the revenue does not get adversely affected.
>Effectively utilize system reports to restrict our exposure to doubtful & bad debts.
>Provide periodic reports & lists as prescribed to ensure all problem areas are highlighted and there is a smooth workflow.
>Ensure reports are authentic and 100% error free to ensure strict vigilance and remedy.
