• Implement best practices in monitoring, tracing, alerting, auditing, and incident response of all Oracle and SQL Server Databases. Utilized Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor (ADDM) to reduce DB time by diagnosing key problems such as Expensive SQL statements, I/O performance issues, locking and concurrency issues, Excessive parsing, Resource bottlenecks (including memory and CPU bottlenecks) and recommending a solution.
• Planned and implemented system-wide upgrade of all Oracle databases from 11g to 19c
• Upgraded Oracle Grid Control server to Oracle Cloud Control (13c) in support of all Oracle installations
• Participation in DR drills to review and optimize the database switchovers, replications, and database resilience.
• Installed and configured Oracle 11g RAC databases and SQL Server ALWAYS ON for test and production environments.
• Handled Large scale Oracle OLTP database for the key clients such as Oriental and star health insurance
