Key Deliverables: • Oversaw the final inspection & quality standards of steel & piping fabrication, erection and welding for 4450 DWT Multi Purpose General Cargo Vessels being built at Chowgule & Co. Pvt. Ltd., Goa.
• Certified the results of NDT techniques used for construction of Vessels like LPT, MPT, UT & RT & ultrasonic thickness gauging as per requirements.
• Carried out the surface preparation inspections of hull, piping, decks & accommodation areas as per the standards of SA 2.5 sand blasting and final painting.
Key Deliverables: • Handled the construction & repairs of Inland & Sea Going Vessels and McGregor Type Hatches.
• Carried out the in-process & final inspection of steel renewals, welding joints, APT & vacuum test of Tanks and vessel plating and hose testing of hatch covers as per the Representatives of the Classification Society and Owners.
• Conducted NDT like LPT, MPT & UT and oversaw the interpretation of RT results.
• Executed the visual inspection of incoming steel and ultrasonic thickness gauging.
• Formulated WPS & PQR in SMAW and GMAW.

- Repairs with Alignment of McGregor Type Hatch Covers for MBC M.V. Hermeez (3500 DWT) and M.V. Kinship Modesty (3500 DWT) for New Era Shipping, Goa.
Worked as an Assistant Project Engineer at Dubai Dry Docks, Dubai for identification of repairs to be done for vessels in the docks and indent material for the job, planning and scheduling of jobs, monitoring quality of jobs and preparing work completion certificates. Vessels ranging from Gross tonnage of 120000 DWT to 320000 DWT.
Supervising of various repairs on vessels afloat at anchorage and berths including renewal of steel plates on deck, side shell, double bottom, top side tanks, tank tops and hatches, McGregor hatch covers, mechanically operated coal grab sheaves, crane gear boxes, windlass brake liner and engine room machinery, indenting material as required, coordinating with various agencies and obtaining work completion certificates.
