- Advise on corporate, employment, compliance, and regulatory matters across KSA, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, and Kuwait.
- Support cross-border mobility, internal investigations, workforce transitions, and policy development.
- Draft and localize legal documents including contracts, disciplinary actions, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with HR, compliance, and leadership on risk mitigation and governance alignment.
- Contribute to legal due diligence and integration planning for mergers and acquisitions.

Legal Function:

- Managing all HR-related matters such as termination cases, policies and procedures, letters, employment contracts, and GR-related matters with government entities.

- Managing all Supply Chain related matters such as reviewing, drafting, and negotiating procurement contracts, NDAs, and purchase orders’ terms and conditions.

- Managing Business Development matters such as reviewing, drafting, and negotiating donations, grants, and sponsorship agreements. We are also handling complex agreements including Drilling Contracts, Bareboat Charters and Newbuild Rigs Agreements.

- Managing the litigation and legal disputes in collaboration with external counsels.

- Managing the day-to-day legal matters by providing legal counsel and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

- Establishing the Legal Dept. by creating the policies and procedures including the Internal Work Regulation which is required by the HRSD. We also built an external law firms panel from scratch by selecting and engaging with different law firms to ensure efficient legal support.

- Ensuring the organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and monitoring changes in legal requirements.

- Coordinating with the Chairman's team to issue Power of Attorney to the relevant stakeholders.

Compliance Function:

- Establishing the Compliance Function by implementing new policies and procedures including, conflict of interest, gift, travel and entertainment, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and whistleblowing.

- Conducting Compliance trainings and awareness for all employees at all levels and inductions for new hires to spread Compliance culture in the Company.

- Leading investigations into potential breaches and recommending corrective actions.

- Following up and responding to complaints received by the Company and helpline.

I was a licensed lawyer specialized in the Labor and Commercial laws. My responsibilities included:
* Case review.
* Drafting memos.
* Attending hearings at Courts.
* Follow up with various government entities.
