- Coordinate with different trades (Structural, Civil, Electrical & Mechanical ) in order to ensure adequate flow of work .
- Validate BOQ according to latest shop drawing.
- Conduct & Lead all types of coordination Meetings for Successful Coordination required for Electromechanical Systems installation, Control & Interface.
- Reviewing and evaluating technical specifications for materials, components, and equipment to ensure proper technical understanding of the project activities, requirements and systems.
- Prepare and follow up on Material Submittal, , and follow up with Consultant / Client to obtain the approval .
- Supervises the employees, ensure they get the required trainings and development plans, review their performance and evaluate them accordingly .
- Lead and Manage Engineering Team to prepare detailed design Drawings, Shop Drawings, Material Take Off.
- Referring the standard codes such as NEC, NFPA, SBC, IBC, for any rectification or modifying rerouting to be carried out as per site conditions.
- Support estimation activities for MEP and then coordinate with Procurement, engineering and operation, to ensure that the related budgets are respected and optimized .
- Participate actively with cost control and project control to perform regular reviews on the budget purpose in relation with MEP scope .
- Provide feedback to management concerning claims .
- Support Engineering Department with all required Technical Information .

- Preparing Project baseline schedule, material delivery schedule and Manpower histogram.
- Control site installation and safety measures on daily basis.
- Control field works and implement/Maintain effective environmental control.
- Follow up with site team / Subcontractors regarding quality and percentage of work (
Installation, shop drawings Technical issue, .. etc ).
- Responsibilities inspection of equipment and the installation of works as per specifications
and standards, Material Inspection request, non - conformed, Value Engineering, Look ahead
forecast, co-ordinate with Main Contractor and Subcontractors, reviewing design drawings,
Issuing of allocated shop drawings, integration and coordination with other site personnel.
- Review shops drawings at site for any modifications or rectification as per site conditions and oversee inclusion in as built drawings. Control site installation and safety measures on daily basis. Monitoring the progress as per project planning department.
- Supervision of all Electromechanical - MEP works at site Including all Installation until to handover to consultant/Client .
- Coordinate with all department ( Commercial, Assets, Finance, Legal, and Security ) for the complete execution of the project from inspection to completion .
- Ensure the Electromechanical - MEP works related activities in project are well monitored, programmed, audited, commissioned and handed over through QC department.
- Preparing Project baseline schedule, material delivery schedule and Manpower histogram.
- Plan and manage organizing project requirement, obtaining material prices, calculating man-hour cost and completing estimate and job cost sheet.

- Fully Responsibility to prepare the cost comparison and technical comparison to select material submittal.
- Discussion and meet the consultant to get the material approval along with Engineering Value .
- Prepare LPO’s and overseas orders . with all related contract
- Find the contradictions in the contract/specification which will help in the negotiation with the client.
- Arrange technical meetings between the client, operator, consultant and our subcontractors to settle any technical pending issues.
- Review the submittals before the official submission to avoid any delay in approval process.
- Monitor the budget for each and every system and contact the estimation team to get explanations in case the budget was very low.
- Find Solutions for any Technical matter and prepare the low current design as per latest technology for Design and Build projects .
- Strong Technical Support and Good knowledge in system Brand Name ( Package Substation, RMU, Generator, UPS, Transformer, Busway, Panel Boards, Lighting Fixture, wiring Devices and low current System ( Lighting Control System, CCTV, MATV, FAS, Public Address System, DALI, Audio/Visual , IPPABX, IPTV, IP CCTV & Switches )
- Source vendors/suppliers based on quality and price specification and maintain the vendor database.
- Issuing foreign and local purchasing orders, opening and following up L/Cs.
- Analyzing and comparing submitted Technical data and offered Prices to choose the best.
- Review and verify inquires/BOQ/specifications for Estimation Projects .
- Review and ensure that the cost estimates prepared are accurate
- Examine enquires and ensure that alternative materials or changes in type of fabrication help saving cost.
- Attend the FAT in the factories and site.

- Supervision and Execution of Electrical work in accordance with the drawings and specification .
- Reading and revising the electrical specification, aspects and Checking of detail design deliverables prepared by engineers / designers and ensure compliance with Project requirements.
- Quantity survey and Create variation order .
- Co-ordinate the Engineering issues with other parties Mechanical, Civil, Architects Department such as HVAC, Fire Fighting, plumbing Architecture, structure beams and steel structure .
- Revising the electrical shop drawing, comparing it with the construction drawing and the development drawing, Monitor and control design change, and prepare the report.
- Knowledge of various Codes & Standards, ATEX, API, NFPA, IEC, NEC, SASO and BS standards requirements.
- Ensure timely project completion through project scheduling, expediting of material deliveries and the management of material and document submittals/approvals and making sure it’s complying with the project specification before submitting to the consultant.
- Negotiate with the consultant about the materials and the shop drawing to reach to satisfied response.
- Preparation/monitoring of deliverable list, manpower planning, inter-discipline co-ordination and reviews, participate in various meetings, input to scope of work & cost estimates
- Responsible for completion of work and hand-over the projects .
- Discussion and meet the consultant to get the material approval .
- Ability to lead and understand shop drawings and update As - built plans.
- Produce monthly and weekly progress statement to client .
- Following the project plan to avoid any delay & making the recovery plan if needed
- Preparing and submitting RFIs for Project Discrepancies to Consultants.
- Optimize manpower distribution, activities prioritizing, depending on critical paths, materials availability, and weather conditions, which allowed achieving milestones before target dates.
- Attending internal construction coordination meetings.
- Monitoring the cash flow to know the available budget and required billing, as well as Preparing the monthly payment.
- Coordination between various disciplines including the Suppliers to prevent any failure, wrong design or installation and clashes.
- Review, coordinate and Approve Design drawings, shop drawings and coordination / composite drawings before submitting to client.
- Review, coordinate & Approve technical and material submittal before submitting to client.
- Coordination with all other parties, i.e. special suppliers, subcontractors, consultant and the project management office to achieve proper installation and interface. as intended in the design.
- Team work to achieve the right sequence of operation for proper operation with the right interface and control between Electromechanical Systems including BMS, CCMS, Lighting Control System, FAS, PAS, SACS, CCTV and others.
- Calculate, estimate and prepare Variation Orders.
- Prepare Various type of technical calculations, i.e. Short Circuit, Voltage Drop, Discrimination & Selectivity, Lighting, Grounding & Lightening Protection...etc.
