Oversee and Co-ordinate the biggest Production Fields and Facilities ( SAIH RAWL & MUSSALAM OIL FIELDS ) in Central OMAN.

• Co-ordinate and supervise the operations of Wellhead side and production field facilities
• Provide technical to plant operations including troubleshooting activities
• Develop and implement process operations improvement ideas to enhance field and control room equipment performance
• Support reliability Engineers in carrying out RCA for all operating problems; personally has a unique and proven solid track record of providing creative solutions to complex field problems
• Champion the commissioning and new projects and re-commissioning of existing equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Participate actively in process and operations improvement workshops& meetings like HAZOP and PSO (Production/Process Systems Optimizations)
• Support in the improvement & execution of Process Safety Management Systems like HEMP, SIL applications, Temporary Overrides of safeguarding Systems & LOPA analysis geared towards reducing plant risk
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations associated with site operations

• Monitoring of the processes, control and evaluation of process parameters, product yields, process equipment etc. and subjecting them to microscopic analysis.
• Critically analyses of the results from the chemical laboratory and recommend the necessary changes to meet product specifications.
• Ensures good energy and material balances of the units.
• Supervises the smooth running of the unit, safe shutdowns and start-ups of the units.
• Oversee emergency shut downs as a result of power outages, steam failures and general utility failure
• Optimization of the Crude Distillation & R F C C Units
• Ensures strict adherence to job safe practices (JSPs) and standard operation procedures (SOPs).
• Ensures strict compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Lead major permanent and temporary modifications using HAZOP
• Support in process development strategies
• Provide Technical expertise for rationalization and optimization of Refinery operations
• Carry out HAZOP study, process risk assessments, S I L applications and FCP initiation
• Operates FOXBORO & HONEY WELL Systems
• Review, comments and approves PFD and P & ID
