Designs and develops the Maintenance strategy in the zone .
Manage the Maintenance and Repair functions in coordination with the superintendents, to ensure that equipment, facilities and buildings are operational and available at all times.
Establish periodic maintenance schedules for the maintenance activities of facilities and establish priorities in coordination with the Planning department
Reviews failure and breakdown analysis with a view to establish corrective action plans as necessary and produces trend analysis reports.
Oversees the re-supply schedules for consumables and fast moving items with the procurement and warehousing departments so as to minimize delays in undertaking routine maintenance.
Establish and manage a 24/7 maintenance emergency and response and repair organization, including formulation of priorities, general operating routine and procedures.
Identifies and coordinates the training and continuation training needs for the member in the zone including health and safety issues
Coordinates with HSE department to ensure that all maintenance operations are conducted in accordance with the
acceptable standards in the zone.
Collects data in order to establish Quality System reports and initiate recommendations for continuous improvements.
Conducts maintenance operations in a financially aware manner so as to reduce costs and remain within programmed budget lines and identify potential savings measures.
Maintains customer relation and ensures customer satisfaction. Reporting to maintenance manager.
