Ensure that the consultant HSE policy is fully applied and followed during the project site activities.
Generate an HSE project plan covering all related sectors to act in accordance with consultant policy.
Generate a well studied emergency plan and make sure it is applied and successful.
Generate and conduct the HSE safety induction to all project staff and site workers.
Coordinate with the project manager to carry on any major critical activities.
Supervising a safety team that follow on all the HSE requirements at the project site.
Review and approve all generated method statement, and job safety analysis for each activity.
Monitor all activities to meet the HSE requirements as written in the approved method statement.
Responsible for monitoring all the Weekly HSE reports, Accident reports, HSE Statistical report, Cranes Safety reports, and Near Miss reports.
Supervise all inspections and surveys on mechanical/ electrical equipment, safety equipment, and make sure that site environment is free from imminent danger or present hazardous conditions.
Perform other related duties assigned by the company, such as implementing the ISO certificates and facilitating third party inspections that the company been granted.
Facilitate third party safety inspections required for the project.
Supervising 30 Safety officers, including seniors and supervisors staff, by giving them the needed support and training required for the job regarding the HSE matters.
Ensure that all the company’s HSE requirements as detailed in management system are implemented and maintained in all areas of the project.
Ensure that Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Safety Task Instruction (JSTI) are prepared and communicated to all involved employees prior to commencement of the task. Also make sure the toolbox talks (TBT) are regularly conducted in many languages and understood to them.
Ensure that JSA, JSTI and TBT are updated, inspected, and periodical maintenance are carried by qualified personnel.
Conduct Inspections and surveys regularly on mechanical/ electrical equipment, permit to work system, and safety equipment, and make sure that site environment is free from imminent danger or present hazardous conditions.
Involve in incident accident investigation reviews with company to develop lesson learned.
Arrange in emergency evacuation drills for workers on site as provided by the procedures.
Prepare accurate injury frequency and man hour records.
Perform other related duties assigned by the project management.
