Job Description and Responsibilities:
• To specify customer needs based on the specification of the project and single line diagram.
• To prepare quotations for projects that include LV switchboards, motor control centers (MCC) and Gen-Set synchronization and selection of bus bar size, protection and control materials such as circuit breakers, metering devices, VFD, soft starter and ATS.
• To offer several solutions to the client in order to achieve customer satisfaction and target price and meet the deadline of project submission.
• To prepare Shop Drawings for Low Voltage Switchgear, Motor Control Centers (MCC) with various solutions including layout, power, control circuits, wiring diagram, bus bar sizing and general characteristic
• To support the sales team technically and respond to the clients inquires.
• To manage project cost by coordinating and follow up with planning and production departments and sales representatives.
• To document the quotation process and draft design of the panels for the next stages of the project.
• To perform several engineering tasks that involve analysis, calculation, design based on instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
• To participate in solving technical problems and establish required procedure to avoid recurrences.
• To reply to customer comments on technical submission in coordination with project management.
• To attend and participate in any meeting with customer for technical discussion.
Calculation of total power load from zero to maximum demand as per requirements & standards.
Estimating fixture requirement and finalizing their locations for installation.
Preparing Single Line Schematic Diagram for the project with necessary details.
Selection of capacities for different equipment like Transformers and Diesel Generators.
Calculation of the requirement of Earthing, UPS and Battery capacities.
Sizing of cables as per standards for Power, Lighting and Voice systems.
Preparation of power & control cable schedule.
Preparing the Shop Drawings for the Electrical Layouts including Power, Lighting, Voice, and BMS & CCTV.
Providing all details of fixtures to the site personnel for effective installation.
Selection of HT/LT switch-gear based on breaking, making &short time capacity.
Providing specifications on all type of equipment required for procurement and installation at site.
Preparation of GA/sectional drawings, HT & LT switch board and busbar sizing.
Design of fire-safety in substation, cable trenches & other parts of electrical system.
Selection of HT/LT cables based on thermal, short circuit & voltage drop based ampacity.
•Title of the project: “Intelligent System Based Online Monitoring of Power Losses in a Transmission Line"
•Objective: The main objective of project work is to develop a practical proto type 2-bus power system for monitoring power system parameters at different buses using intelligent techniques
