PayPLUS is an integrated payment solution that enables businesses, including small & medium businesses and service professionals, to utilize their mobile phone as a Point-of-Sale (POS) device and drive transaction volumes by letting consumers use card based payment instruments. Replete with a range of payment related services, payPLUS works as a one-stop-shop for all requirements of businesses.

• Technical Manager -
 Redesigned the existing product to ease the integration with various dongles.
 Collected and analyzed crucial data required for increasing the usage of product.
• Project manager - Managed the delivery of critical features like EMV, CNP, EMI options, Cash and Cheque payments, merchant branding, etc.
• People manager - Since the engineering team comprised of freshers initially, mentored these freshers technically and process wise to take on the challenge of project and shaped them to confident, independent and dedicated contributors

CRBT - Caller Ring Back Tone
This was a part of a major deal of Managed VAS services with Bharti Airtel in Africa. Won the ‘Awards at the Global Telecom Business Innovation Awards 2013’ for its efforts to innovate and bring the best of digital life to consumers in Africa

My Contribution: Played the role of
• Technical Manager - Re-designed the Core engine (MDB) component to fit into the existing front-end interfaces like IVR, Self-Care, etc and SDB module. Implemented the critical modules using Apache MINA framework. Took critical decisions to use the already existing Front-end interfaces and performance improvements.
• Project manager - Managed the project implementation and deployment in 2 sites on time. This went on to replace atleast CRBT in 10 more sites in Africa.
• People manager - The challenge here was initially, the engineering team comprised of freshers. Mentored these freshers technically and process wise to take on the challenge of project and shaped them to confident independent and dedicated contributors

Vodafone mShop on WebAxn framework
WebAxn harnesses the capabilities of the smart phone, as well as those of GPRS-enabled feature phones to deliver a faster and richer experience to users. As a client-server based solution, operators are able to deliver new services and promotional information instantaneously and offer application upgrades seamlessly.
My Contribution:
1. Integrated with Book My Show for Movie ticket booking and other APIs for Paying Bills
2. Mentored and managed a team of 9 members independently to build this framework. Also, played the role of a project and technical lead providing a flexible solution to deliver dynamic content on the mobile application.

MSDP- Messaging Service Delivery Platform.
This is a Bulk Messaging and Campaign Management Platform for content providers to launch the content (videos, images, music, games) with great speed to customers. SMS, WAP and MMS messages are supported by this platform.
My Contribution:
Implemented the SMPP and CIMD stack. Played a pivotal role in first deployment of MSDP at Hutch, Bangkok.

1> WAP Stack 2.0

2> J2ME Browser for Reliance Infocom - 3 different foot prints of J2ME browser were delivered - 32K being the least.
My Contribution:
As a software engineer, I worked on improving the performance, look and feel, usability and reducing the size of the application to agreed footprints.
Viewing the first page on the low-end CDMA phone’s browser was a ‘Eurekha’ moment
