• Facility Main point of Contact for Tuboscope Coating, Tuboscope Inspection & GP Inside sales team in Dubai.
• Contacting United states GP office in Navasota regarding the orders updates.
• Conducting the order contract review to make sure the the order can be processed in GPME Abu Dhabi.
• Review the QDP’s of raw material (UTG & TJ’s) to make sure it meets all the requirements as per the Specification & Standard.
• Review of Drill String package (DSA) to get all the requirements.
• Creating the Manufacturing Order Package by reviewing the QDP’s & DSA. Sending it to GM for final approval before releasing for manufacturing.
• Giving all the instruction (Technical & Non technical) to Lead man related to the Orders to be processed.
• Helping Lead man to set up the machine for each order (Different Sizes, Grade & Chemistry)
• Raising Purchase requisition as per the GP & Client requirements for any operation which is doing by outside vendor. Mainly Internal Plastic Coating & Hard Banding which is doing by Tuboscope.
• Co-ordinate with Tuboscope to complete the Job within the promise date for the client.
• Make sure the stock order to be ready for collection before the promise date to the client.
• Send Order completion summary to US Head office to prepare the final QDP for the Product.
• Conducting Employees evaluation (14 Employees) in every year and setting goals for them in each year.
• If any equipment in failure, Co-ordinate with Maintenance team & helping them to find the solution and repair it.
• Point of contact for the Contractor if any work to be done in the Facility.
• Monitor production lines operations to ensure that it complies with the quality and safety standards of the company.
• Manage resource allocation including work station assignments, employee breaks and shift rotations to achieve assigned objectives.
• Coordinate and manage shut downs, productions start-ups, and changeovers.
• Prepare daily production reports that will include output quality and quantity.
• Schedule the Monthly Production Target.
• Recommend improvements in quality processes and production procedures and equipment.
• Provide proper trainings to staffs on their job duties.
• Ensure each staff meets the assigned production targets daily.
• Manage proper staffing level daily by checking sick leaves, forecasted employee vacations and unanticipated absences.
• Conduct Tool Box meetings to ensure that staffs understand daily objectives and output requirements.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with General Manager to address issues and safety concerns immediately.
• Build safe, clean and positive working atmosphere.
• Give technical instructions and ensure most efficient and proper manufacturing Techniques.
• Ensuring that the Drill Pipe Specification in accordance with the API 5DP.
• Ensuring that the Drill Pipe Inspection as per the NOV Grant Prideco Specification and the NDT Inspections as per the ASTM.
• Ensure that all personnel have an adequate and understanding regarding the specifications by means of formal and informal instruction.
• NOV Grant Prideco Quality representative for the GP Threading connections.
• To report all quality related matters to management at the management review meetings.
• Verify or ensure through QC Inspectors that the processes at all stages are carried out as per the contract or as per Job order and other customer requirements.
• Maintain Quality records as per the code or customer requirements.
• Inspection of in-coming Tool joints (NC50, NC38, XT39, XT38, XT54 & HT38 etc...) and the UTG Tube as per the DSA (Drill String Assembly Package).
• To control all the documents of the company that are used as an evidence of job being done and make sure that only latest revision number documents are used to record the data.
• Ensure implementation of quality control procedures & Manufacturing Order Package.
• Control of inspection equipment calibration.
• Calibration of in-house calibration instruments.
• Performing an Internal Process Audit based on the Internal SOP, International Specification and Industry Specification (ISO 9001, API Q1 and API 5DP)
• Dealing with Third Party Inspection who witnessed the full process
• Identify and record any product quality problems
• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
• Verify the implementation of solutions
• Maintaining Record of Equipment and Gauges calibration
• Control further processing, delivery of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
• Ensuring that OCTG products inspection in accordance with the API Specifications API 5CT, API Spec 7
• Ensuring that the premium connections such as VAM, GRANT PRIDECO, TENARIS products inspection in accordance with their own Specifications.
• ATTA’s engineering division Licensee Quality Representative (LQR) for the licensor TENARIS.
• Ensure that all personnel have an adequate and understanding regarding the specifications by means of formal and informal instruction.
• To report all quality related matters to management at the management review meetings.
• Verify or ensure through QC Inspectors that the processes at all stages are carried out as per the contract or as per Job order and other customer requirements.
• Maintain Quality records as per the code or customer requirements.
• Hands of experience in inspection according to the API Spec7, API 5CT, DS-1, VAM, TENARIS and GRANT PRIDECO.
• Inspection of in-coming tools whether it will be repairable as per the API Spec, DS-1 spec or any other license connection which it is belongs to.
• To control all the documents of the company that are used as an evidence of job being done and make sure that only latest revision number documents are used to record the data.
• Inspection of the power torquing carried out on the casing and tubing having sizes ranging from 2-3/8” to 20”. Review of the graph obtained after the power tightening.
• Inspection of in-coming materials
• Inspection, Testing of Lifting Equipments, Proof load testing of offshore transportation equipments as per BS 12079: 2006 and relevant British and European standards
• Dimensional & welding inspection of offshore containers, transportation equipments, lifting beams, can buoys, spreader bars etc.
• Maintain the quality documents and handing over the same to the client at the end of the project
• Control of inspection equipment calibration.
• Calibration of in-house calibration instruments.
• Inspection of hydrostatic testing activities
• Give technical instructions and ensure most efficient and proper manufacturing techniques
• Estimation and costing
• Process planning and work centre routing
• Production Planning and Scheduling of load for the machines
• Arrangement of Manpower with least down time
• Facilitates the requirements of the operators, Monitoring efficiency of all the machines
• Liasoning with other departments etc there by attaining monthly targets and companies Key Performance Indexes. Maximize productivity
