Responsibilities:
o Ensure the approval for all inpatient admission and provide all supporting justification and documents to the various TPA in order to obtain the complete approval for hospital stay. Report to Insurance Director and closely work with Finance Management in billing, clearing all elective insurance cases as well as major direct billing cases.
o Liaising with various TPA, in-house Doctors, Insurance / billing staff and other departments in the hospital to obtain necessary approval for Patient Admission, Surgery (Elective and Emergency), and Medical Management.
o Communicate & Meet-up (when necessary) with various Corporate Companies concerned to different policies & protocols for the direct billing.
o Assist senior management in implementation of new procedures, manages corporate agency data requirements
o Ensure proper execution of insurance applications for IP & OP procedures
Responsibilities:
o Diagnosis of patients & prescribe medications
o Different lab investigations according to the prognosis
MBA [Master of Business Administration] (Healthcare Management & Insurance - 2 years course) Period: 2012 - (Pursuing) University: Sikkim Manipal University, India College: Distance Education Program Passed out 1st year (1st, 2nd & 3rd semesters) in good merit and 1 more semesters remaining, which will be completed in 2013.
