Project Management Consultant with WOOD group in Commissioning, Operation, maintenance & training - (process) role as advisor for project completion and process/ quality improvement & final approval authority for Various technical approval stages from pre commissioning/ Commissioning to Stable operation and performance guarantee and final acceptance for Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) multibillion dollar Clean fuel refinery project (CFP) by managing EPC contractors, licensors, vendors, Client and interdisciplinary teams.

• Advise/ Review/ monitor/ technical Support & Coordinate across the key stakeholders of the project for the progress of Refinery units from commissioning to Stable operation and Performance guarantee tests and final acceptance of process Units Crude distillation, Vacuum rerun, Hydrotreaters, ARDS, CCR, HC, utilities.
• Safe and successful pre-commissioning, commissioning and operations of Crude distillation unit (CDU) of capacity 264, 000 BPD includes process of Fractionation by Distillation column, Salt Removal by multi stage Desalter, Off Gas Compression, Stripping, Heat exchangers and fin fan coolers, Heaters, utility system etc.
• Safe and successful pre-commissioning, commissioning, and operations of Atmospheric residue Desulfurization (ARDS) Unit licensed by M/s. Chevron Lummus global of capacity 50, 000 BPD includes process of High pressure Hydrogen integrity tests, Reactions, Fractionators, stripping, Recycle gas compression, Amine Regeneration, Heat exchange, utility systems etc.
• Safe and successful pre-commissioning, commissioning, and operations of Hydrotreaters (DHT/KHT/NHT) Units licensed by M/s. Shell/ Haldortopsoe includes process of Reactions, stripping, Recycle gas compression, Amine Regeneration, HP/LP Separation, Heat exchange, utility systems etc.
• Review & approval of technical documents, Method statements, Operation & maintenance procedures, training procedures, Commissioning procedures, Operational & Control philosophies, and Performance guarantee test procedures.
• Review/ monitor & final approval of test method at facility for Pre commissioning activities like Steam Blowing, Chemical Cleaning, Operational tightness tests, Heater Refractory dry out, Catalyst loading, Pumps/ Compressors Mechanical Run tests.
• Managing Interface activities across brown field and green field of refinery units.
• Review & advise on Technical queries, Process/ Equipment Design change notifications, Work Change notifications, management of change.
• Organize & Participate in project meetings with all stakeholders (Contractors, Vendors, Licensors, internal teams, Client) on Refinery pre-commissioning and commissioning progress, bottleneck issues and delivering a report/ suggestion on positive path forward.
• Review, guidance, and approvals on various technical and design specifications for commissioning tools, prerequisites, materials, consumables, spares, testing packs, chemicals, materials & equipment, and third-party assessment for Units Commissioning activities.
• Review issues in Unit Process Performance, unit operations performance, Process deviation causes, Equipment malfunctions and advising contractor, client to overcome the issues/ deviations considering scope of contracts.
• Review & Participate in project Hazard/ Risk assessment/ SIMOPS/ SIL/ JSA Workshops, critical Process safety management activities, Pre startup safety review (PSSR) & Critical punch clearance walkdowns, PTOP Exceptions.
• Review and verify for the accuracy of detailed process design calculations, engineering & equipment datasheets and As built P&ID drawings, line lists, Heat & Material balances, design pressure temperature diagrams etc., to specify the process engineering specifications of our projects.

Responsible for Process Engineering Support for Crude oil Operation & Maintenance of KOC-GC-16/ Lower Fars Heavy
oil project at North Kuwait location, Including Coordinating & Handling with clients KOC/ Third parties like Shell,
Weatherford etc. and Alkhorayef team for optimum process operations and ensuring best value is obtained for the
project including internal and external resources. Key role in tracking and advise technically for activities against the
detailed project plans.

- Process Engineering.
Responsible for Process Support in Execution of Operations related activities & technical support and guidance on
operations validation, development and implementation & ensures operations related activities are performed in
compliance with company standards and regulations. Technical Guidance & Training to employees.
Highlights:
• Technical Guidance & Executing/Support in start-up & maintenances and regular operations of the Processing facility.
• KPI, debottleneck plant operations (DCS) & Troubleshooting of process/production /product relatedproblems.
• Reviews data for the past 24 hours on production quality, production rate, and problems encountered and checks
consumption of raw materials and utilities against targets and standards.
• Supporting & Coordinating with Maintenance teams during shutdowns & breakdowns for downtimereductions.
• Production planning in coordination with operation & sales trend.
• Generating daily plant reports /Preparing & review of SOPs.
• Closely works with operations as per planning & optimization of process with HSE environment.
• Audit on all safety work permits, lockout & tagging procedures.
• Support in Plan & Implement shutdown, isolation, depressurizing, and cleaning/ purging /Flushing of equipment
required for maintenance, Develop and Standard operation procedure and work Instruction.
• Reviewing Scope of work /P& IDs Mark ups / Line list /Control Narrative /Cause & Effect Diagram.
• Evaluating technical quotes for Bidding & Finalizing.
• Key Process equipment technical evaluation.
• Preparation of intermediate Commissioning procedures
• Coordinating with QA/QC team at various stages of operations for all compliances.
• Continuous Supervision at field during key work progress & time framework allocation to crew.
• Coordinating meetings with Inter disciplines for work progress & minutes the meetings for followup.
• Report Preparation on progress of project.
• Process support in Plant commissioning & startup activities.
• Fulfilling all required documentation comply with ISO 14001, OHSAS.
• As built Documentation - PFDs & P&IDs, Equipment List, Instrument List and Line List.
• FEED Calculations.
• Developing project scopes and project costs estimates, CAPEX.
• Performing supporting process calculations and preparing specifications for all required process equipment items,
heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, instruments, control valves and relief valves.
• Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZIDs, Risk Assessments etc.
• Preparation of technical proposals/Reviewing vendor quotes for technical compliance.
• Business communications, presentations of project reviews, Cost Leadership.
