Presently working with SALTOS GROUP for the last 6years as a Quantity surveyor, Technical Officer, CAD operator. Saltosgroup is a leading Civil Engineering Company engaged in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation works in various parts of Qatar.
Responsibilities in Saltos :
-• Preparing Daily cost report and monitoring the daily work progress with submitted Request for Inspection and coordinating with QA/QC team.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Take Off Overall Project Quantity from AFC drawings.
• Preparation of Tender and contract related documents.
• Preparation and review of subcontract documents.
• Attend internal and external Pre-Commencement Contract Meetings.
• Arranging Tenders from Contractors and Sub-Contractors.
• Providing quantities to planning department for base line program.
• Calculating and monitoring material on site. (MOS)
• Checking of site inspection reports for various works as per approved construction drawings and site verification works executed by the contractor.
• Preparing monthly interim payment documents.
• Preparation of variation order (VO) and agreeing with Clients / Consultants.
• Review and recommendation of contractor’s valuation, claim and variation.
• Checking subcontractor’s payment and certifying.
• Preparing structural/architectural drawings as per applicable codes and standards
• Site measurement for verifying the existing layouts.
• Establishing coordinates at site for building alignment.
• Extraction of shop drawing from consultant’s drawings.
• Preliminary Drawings preparations.
• Interior design furniture plan, Tile layout for floors & walls, Site & Landscape plan.
• Preparation of As-built drawings.
• Take Off Overall Project Quantity.

• Guiding the subordinates regarding efficient and effective drafting techniques.

• Drafting of contractual correspondences,

• Preparation of As-built drawings.
• Assignment of activities to workers (Trade man, Charge hand & Labor’s) who have the required skill to accomplish the job within time.
• Coordinating with Engineers, safety department etc.
• Organizing required material, tools & equipment’s to the work place.
• Planning of daily activities according to the instruction of engineer, project engineer and the availability of resources.
• Assigning and motivating manpower to achieve the goal efficiently.
