Reliance is the largest private sector petrochemical unit and largest refinery, associated in production of different types of petrochemical products like Ethylene, Propylene, PP, PE, MEG, PVC, VCM, Butadiene, PBR, PTA, POY, PSF, etc. During my service period, I had been involved in Preventive, predictive, Routine, shutdown and Breakdown maintenance of following static and rotary equipments of continuous polymer plant like PP (Polypropylene) and PPCP(Polypropylene Co Polymer) and LDPE(Low Density polyethylene). I have also been involved in Reliability improvement of equipments as Rotary Machine Cell Engineer.

ROTATING EQUIPMENTS:
C.F. Pumps
Single stage pumps with mechanical seals of single and double arrangements type. Handling pumps with various makes like Sulzer, khimline, kirloskar, Flowserve, etc.
Handling of mechanical seals of different make like Dura metallic, Bergman, Flowserve, John crane, etc.
Reciprocating Pumps
Different type positive displacement pumps with single and Sandwich type arrangements.
Centrifugal compressor
Maintenance of single stage cycle gas compressor with dry gas mechanical seal of M/s Delaval Stork make which is used for cycle gas in reactor. Overhauling of multistage of M/s Elliot compressors used for Ethylene and propylene. Installation of Dry Gas seal and Mechanical Seal in Compressors. Overhauling of M/s Atlas Copco, MAN and other make compressors up to 18MW.
Turbines
Overhauling of turbines of M/s GE - STG’s, M/s Elliot, M/s Dresser and other make turbines. Replacement of nozzles of turbine up to 18MW.
Extruder
Maintenance of Extruder ZSK-300 and ZSK 170 model of M/s. W & P in main plant & ZSK-25 model in pilot plant.
Extruder Main Gear box overhauling, screw replacement, die plate replacement, pelletizer overhauling, cutter to die plate alignment, modification from steam heated die plate to intensive heated die plate etc.
Reciprocating Compressor
Maintenance & complete overhauling in Sulzer Compressors, IR compressors, Peter brotherhood compressors, Burckhardt 4D300 3M Model in Vent Gas Recovery area & 2D100 2B Model in purification area for HP Nitrogen. Overhauled Hyper F6 - 6 MW - 3000bar model of M/s Burckhardt and booster-primary compressor of NP make.
Blower
Maintenance and Overhauling of Positive displacement lobe type blower of Comvaq and Arezen make blowers.
Screw Compressor
Maintenance and Overhauling of Screw Compressors of Howden make.
Centrifuge
Maintenance and overhauling of centrifuges of M/s Humboldt, turbo couplings, planetary gearboxes, Mechanical seals, etc.
Agitators
Maintenance and overhauling of Agitator of Press Industrial and Remi Process Equipment make. Installation of Coaxial seals, etc.

•Best Performer Award 07-08 in 1st year of joining at Reliance.
•Worked on deputation for Annual Shutdowns on different rotating equipment’s at various plants like PVC, PE, MEG 1/2/3, Cracker plant at hazira and Dahej complex.
