JOB PROFILE:
•Providing guidance & strategic direction on matters relating to HSE to all Project members,
•Liasing with contractor Safety Managers to ensure safety compliance & safety coverage on site.
•Handled a team of 100+ safety professionals.
•Daily briefing with the site safety team to identify & resolve the safety concerns on site.
•Ensuring statutory compliance post accidents.
•Accident/Incident investigation & sharing Lessons Learned with employees.
•Participation in developing HSE Policy and Plan.
• Implementing Covid-19 protocols as per regulations from MOPH QATAR.
•Coordinating swab tests for the employees on site as well as in the accommodation camps.
•Implementing Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities in the minds of employees.
•Coordinating & Delivering Class room Safety induction, trainings to all Staff on the Project.
•Identify training needs and develop training programs as required from HSSE Management System perspective.
•Expertise in hazard identification, risk analysis, risk assessment and job safety analysis.
•Good knowledge of Scaffolding.
•Promoting positive HSE culture.
•Participating in Facilities inspections & Safety Audit.
•Preparing Daily Tool box talk / briefing to all site workmen.
•Training Data Analysis.
•Conducting Task specific Safety Trainings.
•Ensuring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance.
•Ensuring compliance with all Safety measures.
•Counseling of non-compliant personnel (violators).
•Training all personnel, including Safety Officers on HSE issues.
•Participating in developing an Emergency Response Plan.
•Always active in the site to maintain an accident free site.
•Monitor the prevailing working conditions and ensure safe working practices among the workforce.
•Inspecting fire alarm control systems as per NFPA Standards.
•Monitoring compliance to HSE Policy & HSE Objectives.
•Identification & Prevention of hazards in the plant and buildings.
•Coordinate and monitor the “Permit to Work” system.
•Control lifting equipment and movement of vehicles inside the plant.
•Ensure top notch upkeep of Fire Fighting & Safety equipment besides selection of suitable/ standard equipment
