Duties and Responsibilities : * Review of design drawings, liaison with design office for modifications required
based on site conditions, Review of Contractor’s Method Statements, Shop
drawings, Bar Bending Schedules, Works Programme.Review of proposals
submitted by Contractor for temporary works and alternative designs.
* Inspection in compliance with BS EN 1337 for Bridge Bearing & Expansion joint
manufacturing and supplier’s units.
* Review of all Structural Design calculations in particular, Design Review of
Bearing calculations, Post tensioning calculations, Expansion joint calculations,
Structural gantry design calculations, Review of MSE walls design internal and
external stability in compliance with AASHTO LRFD Design Specifications and
BS standards, Bearing and Expansion joints material submittals incompliance
with Project specifications and relevant standards.
* Communication with the Contractor's relevant engineers to propose
accelerating measures to expedite the Site works. Continuous field inspections
to the ongoing site works.
* Attending review meetings with Client, co-ordination with site supervision team,
correspondence with design office and contractor etc.
* Detect discrepancies between the Contract Drawings or other documents and
apparent deletions; report them immediately along with recommended
measures to Resident Engineer.
* Monitoring the Contractors work activities to ensure the Contractor is able to
meet intended program key dates and milestones in the Project. Checking
construction materials arrived to site in compliance with specifications and
reviewing the laboratory test results with the Manufacturer's data provided.
* General oversight of Inspectors daily activities including work assignments,
onsite performance and guidance on the supervision of the contractor’s
operations.
* Review and approval of the As-Built Drawings according to Shop drawings and
Bar Bending schedules as executed on site.

Project in Brief : Construction of Batinah expressway Package-1 from station 0+00km to 45+500,
the project consists of 03 grade separated interchanges, 04 underpasses and 01
wadi bridge along the expressway.
Duties and Responsibilities : * Assist the draftsmen’s to prepares the shop drawings and other temporary
work drawings as per the project specifications.
* Execution of fish belly box girder, aesthetic pier mockup as per drawings and
obtain the approvals.
* Coordinating with consultant, design &procurement teams to accomplish the
given task as per project specifications. Acquainted the installation POT, PTFE
bearings and elastomeric expansion joints.
* Attending progress review and HSE meetings to expedite the execution.
* Execution of pile foundation of different dia. And performing its load testing by

Project Brief : Batinah coastal road project .Package -2(Sohar port to Khatmatmalah interchange)
The project consists of 1 fly over, 1Grade separated junctions, 13 Wadi bridges of
different lengths, and single, double cell & multi cell box culverts.
Duties and Responsibilities : * In charge of all piling related activities for 10 nos., Wadi bridges, flyovers &
interchange of pile depth 20 & 23mtrs, daily monitoring with subcontractors,
consultant.
* In charge in execution of wadi bridges, interchanges from foundation to
superstructure including girder launching, stressing, grouting, fixation of
POT, PTFE, ELASTOMERIC BEARINGS, EXPANSION JOINTS.
* In charge for preparation casting yard setup, casting of PSC I-girders
25, 30mspans) casted around 250 Post tensioned I-GIRDERS.
* Execution of structure works (Wadi Bridges, PSC Girders, Box girders of 50m etc.)
in the project.
* Execution of Bored cast-in-situ piling of 1200 dia., 1500 dia., Performing static,
reaction pile load test of test pile as well as working piles of having 2000tones as
test load.
* Preparation of plan & program to complete the works in time and maintaining
Daily Progress Report, Stressing of girder, Launching Scheme of precast girder,
Sub Soil Investigation, preparation of Working Drawings and Bar Bending
Schedule for Box Culverts (Multiple cells) & Wadi Bridges.
* Checking of reinforcement, foundation layout and quality control during
