l arrived to Sri Lanka with a very strong experience and, new look, in hospitality industry from the overseas . l began my skills from the very first point ( POT washing) department in the Main Kitchen. from Jan; 1986. From this year I played many roles in the hotel industry and Catering division as well. My knowledge and, strong skills which comes with the experience lifted me to a High post as a Royal Head Butler/ Butler Manager. This post covers all areas of the hotel operation, and he who takes care of the V.I.P guest from the arrival to the departure offering a personals service. He / or She should be knowledge as all rounder in Food & Beverage / front office / sports/ area / about the location/ food preparations/ Cooking a .B.B.Q service. Also solving problems on the spot, putting yourself on to the client shoes, and be a good listener. A good team player. I do meet all these experience and now I am in my home land to put my hands to gather and do some projects in Sri Lanka with the latest new looking with some new clients. This post has a responsible, similar to a Hotel manager in a Five star property and in Resort also.
I gather all my knowledge, and experience to develop the new properties and projects with a better revenue to my owners of the establishment, and buildup a trustworthiness at all time. I am proud to open new projects with a new look operation system like in Middle East Countries. This is my Goal, to bring more guest with / offering a different service culture. We should have many training and motivation also ( specially the wine service) Also we must have strong team to manage the hotel. So we are in a situation that we can face any challenges during the operation.
My Eye point is to observe all department within the property and to have a strong leadership to oversee the staff by providing a better training keep the staff happy with many facilities around the staff compound. l am fluent in three lounges, (1). English. (2). Sinhala. (3). Tamil. (4) German fairly.

Also I am involved in housekeeping also, and hygiene also it is very important.
As a F&B Server pool and the bar serving food and beverages around the pool deck area and the restaurant and taking a special care of the guest during the stay in the pool and the beach . Also offering the service around the beach area also. Observing the safety of the guest during their swimming, helping the bar man to do the opening and closing on request sometimes back up the barman if the management request to cover up fine dining, I do many rolls on the need of my management.
