Project: Midfield Terminal Airport, Abu Dhabi
Field of Expertise: Site supervision & Contract Administration and Project management.
Roles and Responsibility:
• Includes in construction supervision over the electrical works comprising monitoring and contract administration.
• Review and approval of relevant technical and material submittals, electrical schematics, load schedules, shop drawings
associated with the MEP works.
• Reviewing and supervising the earthing network layouts, design‐built layout for MV, LV, small power and lighting, Fire Alarm
and Telecommunication systems in conformance with requirements in the design and local authority codes.
• Reviewing electrical samples for conformity with the project specifications.
• Supervising subordinate staff members in the execution of their responsibilities.
• Managing the MEP coordination to ensure availability of power source to all MEP equipment’s.
• Provide resolution to the contractor RFI’s in consultation with the designer and relevant MEP and Architectural departments.
• Responsible for the design submissions and coordination with all concern authorities such as ADDC, ADCD, ETISALT for NOC’s
and design approvals.
• Preparing necessary domain related draft correspondence, to respond prime and sub‐contractor letters.
• Witnessing and supervising commissioning and start‐up activities.
• Attending the necessary factory test and witnessing MDB, MCC, SMDB, DB CB’s testing prior to dispatching them to on site.
• Studying and giving comments on the Contractors Claims and preparing the Weekly Progress Reports,
• Regularly monitor actual progress against the project plan and keep the senior management /client updated on the progress/
project milestones and deliverables.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Overall in‐charge for Electrical project deliverables and performed Value Engineering.
• Produced the Shop drawings for Electrical power and lighting, Fire Alarm & PA Systems, BMS, Lighting control systems,
Emergency Central Battery systems.
• Preformed Techno commercial finalization with the client, obtained the Technical submittal Approvals, accomplished
procurement and project management.
• Acquiesced the RFI’s to consultant for the change in the consultant drawings.
• Responsible for the design submissions and coordination with all concern authorities such as ADDC, ADCD, and ETISALT for
NOC’s and design approvals.
• Coordinated with the Consultants, Project/ Construction Managers, Sub‐contractors, and other third‐party stakeholders to
drive the project successfully. Accomplished the Installations / Executions as per the tender specifications, approved drawings
performed site wide pre commissioning and commissioning for electrical and ELV systems.
• Managed the contract commercial and vendor payment certificates.

• Attended FAT for MDB, SMDB, MCC, DB’s and BMS DDC panels and performed SAT on site.
• Supervised the pre commissioning, testing and commissioning of the installed systems and ensure compliance and till the

• Major Systems Handled in ADIC project: 3 MV rooms, 15 Transformers, 8 Generators, Three 500kva and Six 250kva business
critical and data center UPS, FA, SCADA, security, and BMS.
Roles and Responsibility: Technical Duties:
• Understanding the drawings, specifications of the LV and low current systems provided by the client/consultant.
• Prepare the technical proposals and material submittals, shop drawings, installation layouts, schematics for low current
systems in line with contract requirements. Raised RFI’s.
• Liaised with the client and consultant on all issues pertaining to the drawings, submittals and RFI’s for their swift approval.
• Supervised the site works regularly and attending all technical and engineering problems including manpower allocations.
• Effectively review tender and IFC drawings to manage variations from the contract drawings and notify deviations.

• Attend clarification MEP meetings, surveys with client / consultant.
• Arranging the site and material inspection with the consultant and verify the IR and CIR documentation QA/QC producers.
• Send enquires and coordinate with vendors (internal and 3rd Party) for offers.
• Knowledge of Project Phases, Engineering and Site Management manpower estimation concepts.
• Effectively managed the project close out documents that pertaining to the low current systems and obtain their approval with
the client /consultant.
• Attend Site Progress Meetings and MEP Coordination Meetings to discuss and resolve any design or construction issues with
consultant and/or Clients Representatives.
• Assist the project manager in the preparation of Regular client progress reports and any relevant quality.
Site Duties:
• Issued work clearance, scheduled the work and monitored work progress for all electrical items 1st, 2nd and final fixations.

• Handled the installation of Building management system for 15 Buildings with integrated environment, fire and security system
for the airport, data center and structured cabling package, (installed more than 35 thousand outlets for 15 buildings), ELV and
BMS system for Dubai metro (Red Line).
