a) Providing first level support for all the systems for both Guest & hotel.
b) Ensure consistently strong operational support for all internal IT systems and users, minimizing any
system outages.
c) Maintain licenses for all software and ensure that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance
contracts.
d) Monitor the performance of the computer software and maintain a log of performance reports, error
and integrity check reports, system malfunctions and solutions.
e) Understand, fully, the legal requirements on IT governance and security.
f) Designing and implementing the new projects.
g) Identify current and future system needs and provide solutions for the identified needs
h) Participating and preparing the annual budget.
i) Negotiating with IT vendors for the cost saving according to the market.
j) IP Configuration for VLAN connectivity and 1st level troubleshooting in network.
k) Installation of Front Office, Back Office, POS systems with interfaces with 1st
level support
l) Installation of Administration Software’s (Exchange server, MSOffice, Anti virus)with 1&2 st
level support
m) Providing internal Training about the IT systems (Administration & Service Staff)
n) Computer Room Safety & Security as per standards
o) Web Site - Content management and monitoring the central reservations systems availability.
p) CCTV
q) Backup procedures; Off Site/Onsite Backups schedules.
r) Public Areas / Rooms- Internet Connectivity
s) E1/ DiD Lines (Coordinating with MOC, ISP provider, IP Telephony)
t) Maintaining documents on Computer Usage, Passwords, Rights, etc
(r) Full knowledge of Windows 2003&2008 Servers and the latest
