• 2022-2024- The group has an entity producing green fuels-EGX Fuels and it had signed MOU with Keyna Government. I led the finance of the above entity and worked during the startup phase of this business. It included project capitalization, working on fund raising efforts, IP registration and day to day financial accounting and reporting
• Led periodic business and financial reviews including management accounts, budget vs actuals, department wise reviews
• lender reviews including covenants, risk management meetings and board presentations.
• FP&A review of several portfolio entities including metrics development for companies in different sectors
• Defining business metrics for various portfolio companies and tracking these in a dashboard (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI and other digital tools)
• Working with group auditors and handling contentious technical accounting issues of US GAAP and IFRS
• Worked on a merger with SPAC along with SEC compliances
• Worked on several strategic and financial reporting matters
• Hands on and practical experience of working on several US GAAP technical topics including ASC 606, 842, 718, 805, 350, 825 among many others
• Worked on debt rehabilitation plan for exit from lender's control, Complex debt and covenant management
