• Responsible for all Assembly shop maintenance handling machine like Pleating/PU dispensing/PVC & Media curing oven/HMC/HPW/Centrifuging/Auto clipping etc
• Heading a team of members of Electrician & Fitters to achieve effective maintenance through continual improvement and automation.
• Designing, planning, finalizing & execution of capex with annual budget according to the requirement.
• Responsible for controlling and maintaining of cost, quality, production, safety and efficiency by implementing TBM, TPM, 5S, KAIZEN, and POKA-YOKE
• To increase production by increasing Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and reducing Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).
• Plant layout, Executing, Erection and commissioning of equipment
• Energy conservation, reduction and control and optimum utilization of natural resources.
• Developing and implementing plans & schedules for maintenance operations and annual turn around with focus on optimum utilization of manpower and material.
• Preparing SOPs, Manuals & Work Instructions for operations for the unit and maintaining reports for facilitating decision making by management.
• Documentation for TS & Initiated in house Pressure gauge calibration.
• Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.
• Identifying project bottlenecks and undertaking corrective measures.
• Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe & timely execution of the projects.
• Identifying scope for planning, implementing & monitoring of technological changes to enhance productivity, and implementing various techniques for cycle time reduction, potential defect and Breakdown through proactive approach.
• Responsible for Turning Center (Ace Designer), Vertical Machining Center (Bfw), Special Purpose Machine (HMT/BFW/J&J/Batliboi), Horizontal Machining Center (Bfw /Makino), Double Horizontal Machining Center.
• Responsible for different types of machines like 2 & 3 axis VDM/Boring CNC (Fanuc control)
• PLC (Mitsubishi/Siemens)
• Responsible for Electrification & Power distribution for plant & machineries.
• Responsible for ensuring reduction in MTTR and increase in MTBF, by using WHY-WHY analysis.
• Responsible for looking after Preventive maintenance & Predictive maintenance and reduction in down.
• Responsible for the operations, maintenance and repair of utility equipment’s like Transformers, Compressors, DG sets.
• Responsible for effective resource planning for optimizing man & machine utilization, reducing wastes for enhancing productivity & profitability.
• Responsible for preparing & maintaining daily MIS report of the department.
• Responsible for Works planning & management i.e. Shift scheduling for smooth plant running, proper machine maintenance planning, TS & ISO related document work.
• Responsible for installation and commissioning of machineries in the plant.
• Responsible for cost saving & machine modification projects.
• Hydraulics & Pneumatic based machines.
