Working in both Pediatric inpatient settings (Acute wards, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit & Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit) and outpatient settings
Screening of new patients
Therapeutic sessions include: Assessment, treatment planning & therapy implementation of clients
Daily Documentation (SOAP notes), reassessments, discharge and follow-ups on a specialized interface.
Teaching and supervising OT interns/students
Fabrication of hand splints, soft splints, and AFOs
Prescription of orthotic devices and general equipment for ADL & mobility
Regular meetings with all medical staff / OT, PT staff
Attending presentations /seminars concerning the recent updates in therapeutic approaches
Presentations in recent trends in OT
Patient population includes children with Various Syndromes, Genetic disorders, Metabolic & Nutritional Disorders, Congenital & Neurodevelopment Disabilities like Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Cardiac issues, Pervasive Developmental Disabilities (PDD), Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD), Autism, Learning Disabilities, Brachial Plexus injuries, Spina Bifida, etc., in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Patient population includes children with Pervasive Developmental Disabilities (PDD), Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD), Autism, Learning Disabilities, Congenital & Neurodevelopment Disabilities, Down’s syndrome, Erb’s Palsy, Spina Bifida etc.
Attending clinical posting, management & training of Occupational Therapy students in the clinical posting
Management of Occupational Therapy clients, including clinical assessment, planning & treatment demonstration of patients / clients & follow up
Maintenance of Occupational Therapy equipments and inventory in the clinic & OT lab
Engage in development/innovation of the clinical services offered & monitoring quality assurance practices of the operation in the centre
Engage in liaising with external parties, especially referring physicians, organizations, licensing bodies and other legal entities regarding the services offered at the centre.
Lecturing by preparing own lesson plans & teaching slides adhering to the guidelines
Conducting tutorials/ practical sessions and Invigilating tests, quizzes, examinations
Preparing question paper & answer scheme based on TOS according to Bloom's Taxonomy and & evaluating examination answer paper
Assigning seminars / assignments and assessing the students based on standard rubrics
Providing counselling for the student in mentor- mentee program
Responsible for the effective delivery of the Bachelor Occupational Therapy program,
Liaison & coordination of student clinical posting locally and internationally
Research Supervisor & Group Coordinator for Bachelor Occupational Therapy students
Cross Teaching for Bachelor Physiotherapy program
Preparation of academic calendar, proposal & finalization of program schedules,
Member of University Exam Board, Faculty Exam Board Committee, Vetting Committee, University Research Committee

• Organizing effective teaching learning-methods to students through group discussions, symposium in Inter faculty, and critical analysis of recent issues in journals.
• Guiding both Undergraduate & Postgraduate students in the Research works.
• Clinical teaching to undergraduate & postgraduate students, decision-making and organizing patient care services.
• Supervising, appraising and training of students.
• Preparation of question papers for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students and conducting examination for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
• Maintenances of written records of work and render returns, statistics and reports.
• Liaison with senior staff accordingly & active participation in training.

• Providing quality assurance and service by effective occupational therapy interventions to enhance the patient performance in relevant to the performance context (activities of daily living).
