• Made and update the centralized tracker by working with transport management team closely to trace the
movement of each consignment and capture the details like truck number, trailer number, driver name, and
which driver executed how much of a trip with 100% accuracy. This information is used in preparing salaries
of drivers and analyzing the vehicle’s performance.
• Created a dashboard to compare monthly revenue generated and costing of each truck (irrespective of driver which drove it), and to compare monthly revenue generated by each driver (irrespective of truck driven) and salary drawn (because trip compensation is different for different locations), which in turn is used in truck and
driver performance computations.
• Maintain the records of trucks details, registration, diesel consumption, odometer readings, safety audits,
servicing and integrate them all to prepare monthly reports for detailed performance of each truck.
• Maintain the record of all container related expenses, DP world related expenses, tolls, permissions, gate passes, etc., which is used by various stake holders.
• Calculate the monthly gross profit by computing the expenses on each trip executed.
• Compile monthly salaries of all the drivers.
• Conduct safety compliance audit of all vehicles every 6 months.
• Liaise with vendors for the purchase of diesel, spare parts, or anything required on ad hoc basis.
• Keep the drivers and vehicles information on the GPS tracking software up to date.
• Won a biggest purchase order for the company at the time, worth USD 2 million for UAE military.
• Handled procurement and delivery of equipment to Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA).
• Inquire for industrial equipment/ goods and raw materials from local and overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
• Ensure purchase orders and inquiries issued to various suppliers were regularly followed-up.
• Give quotations for all line items mentioned in the inquiry meeting the deadline.
• Check the received material prior forwarding it to the store or to the purchaser.
• Inspect the lay-over area for material storage and the material for any damages.
• Arrange gate pass for drivers and vehicles by coordinating with the buyer.
• Assist store manager in inventory count when required.
• Log worldwide Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) failures in software to find its cause and assist the offshore crew to resolve them.
• Investigate each incident by coordinating with region wise Operations and Quality Managers.
• Compile the KPI of all operational ROVs from database and distribute them.
• Study the operational downtime, prepared departmental monthly reports, and gave presentations to the management.
• Orchestrate inter/intra departmental meetings and conduct HSE meetings and toolbox talks.
• Design, review and refine technical as well as administrative procedures/ documentation and maintain
departmental logs.
• Formulate dashboards and reports for operations, commercial bidding, and management.
• Oversee lab equipment calibration and maintain their Certificates, EMOs & database.
• Test, install, commission & maintain electric machines, motors and HV cables.
• Design simple electrical control circuits.
• Electrical estimation and costing.
• Complaint handling and back office work.
