Regular Plant Safety Inspection for Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), unsafe condition & unsafe acts, develop plans for mitigation of hazard/corrective actions and communication to concern.
HAZOP Study, Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA).
Conducting Safety audits (IS: 14489), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, inspections,
Accident Investigation for facts & Root Cause Analysis, Recommendations and lessons learning.
Analyzing the accident trend, corrective actions, ensure compliances.
Ensure HSE performance analysis is carried out to identify trends and develops mitigation actions as required.
Work permits verification for confined space, hot & cold jobs.
Occupational health monitoring, Safety awareness program to promote safety and motivation.
Emergency preparedness and mock drills.
Chemical Handling Safety on operation/ Storage / Lab, Electrical Safety, Safety for Work at height jobs, Heavy lifts safe operation, Tank Farm etc.
Statutory compliance on EHS and implementing safety Procedures
Management Safety Walkthrough, Safety Committee Meetings, Weekly Progress Meetings.
To promote EHS awareness and safety culture through education/training programs and providing leadership within the area.
Contractors’ approvals through Technical Bid Evaluation and Pre Questionnaires Queries.
Well motivated and able to work independently.
Major units covered are MEG Plant, LDPE, LLDPE Unit, Utility and Tank Farm Area, Piping UG / AG, Fabrication jobs.
Use of detectors and analyzers H2S, CO2, CO, O2.
• Tank Farm Safety, Unit process safety, Ware house/storage Safety, Chemical Handling Safety
• Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Risk assessments (HIRA /JSA/HazOpp),
• Safety at plant shutdown & pre-start-up.
• F&G Detectors, Field Analyzers / sensors for safety/ double layer protection, safety valves etc.
• Process Safety, Safety Inspection round of Plant regular visit
• Safety audits. Investigation for facts & root cause.
• Analyzing the accident trend, corrective actions, ensure compliance. .
• Safety committee meeting,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Well motivated and able to work independently.
• To improve EHS awareness and safety culture through education/training programs and providing leadership within the area.
