Manages patients care in allocated area ensuring good standard of care provided.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, Implements and Evaluates care given to assigned patients in an effective and organized manner
- Provides for the physical, psychological, and social needs of the patients and families.
- Predominant role in preparation, administration and documentation of medication.
- Complies with established Nursing Department Policies and Procedures.
- Maintains and Updates all relevant patient documentations/ medical records as per hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient's records.
- Participates in Rehabilitation and Discharge Planning of Patients.
- Follows the Reporting Mechanisms/ chain of command in Nursing Department. Ensuring Patient care issues are correctly and quickly reported.
