i played several management roles in this company, as a project Manager, Contract Admin. and Area Manager...
Each position has its own commitments and job description..
I have finished successfully turn key projects when i was a project Manager, did my best manage the time by Controlling performance to meet the deliverables according to the schedule, Achieving project deadlines, Using a formal process to estimate times for all activities, sequence them and then prepare the project delivery schedule (roadmap).
Not only time management is important but also the Cost Management which i managed using the next procedure:
• Plan, allocate and manage budgets using appropriate company tools.
• Anticipate and give forewarning of any deviations from budget.
• Control the budget within the limits of the project tolerances approved by the project sponsor.
• Seek approval from the sponsor for any anticipated expenditure above the project budget.
As a project Manager, i used my skills in time and cost management to achieve the quality of the deliverable by monitoring project performance and quality along life cycle of the project considering the safety procedures during all construction process.

During my Contract Admin. position, i succeeded to Save 12% from the total contracts amount (about 230 million EGP/year) through better deals, getting good conditions for our company through good negotiation with clients, in addition to my role to develop this department, follow up the progress of several projects, subcontractors evaluation..

As an Area Manager i could:
• Clarify to site managers the approved project plan and agree with them on the methodology to get their feedback and support any changes of Managing Director.
• i coordinate between projects to get the best use of our company resources
• Follow up the progress of work at the sites with the project team on a weekly basis, and ensures that the workflow running accordingly to the approved schedule plan in full compliance with the plans of safety and quality controls,
• Prepare weekly reports of the development of their own project .
• Coordinate and follow up the progress of work with all the departments involved in the implementation of the project and Breaking the obstacles to make sure that the implementation of the project according to agreed standards and take corrective action.
• Prepare reports on a regular basis (weekly / monthly), regarding the performance of the project compared to set standards.

Therefore i could honestly confirm that i achieved my objectives in these above mentioned positions, where i could:
- Finish the projects in time, with in budget and with the required quality according to standard specs.
- succeed to build a High-Performing Teams - It was through effective leadership and teamwork that projects are delivered.
- I could identify and develop my team to sustain empowered behaviors and display the characteristics of a high-performing team, which is inclusive and not exclusive.
- Build Excellent in client trust and mutual confidence which expand our company business by around 200 Mn EGP in a series of Sequential projects.

Starting from Jan. 1995 till March 1998 i worked as an Engineer in the Steel Structure factory under direct supervision to a German Expert, i was reported to him, i was responsible for shop drawings, fabrication and installation of the STEEL factory.
From April 1998 till Dec. 2000: i worked as a site Engineer and construction manager to implement several projects like:
-Swimming Pool including its covering steel structure farme for PYRAMISA HOTEL at Sharm EL-Sheikh.
-Media production city at sixth of October city (civil and steel Work),
-Steel and wooden works for ORASCOM Company in the new building of AUC-New Cairo.
-PRODUCTION AND STORAGE HALLS for SANTAMORA FACTORY IN TENTH OF RAMADAN CITY (6000m2).
From Jan. 2001 till March 2010: i worked as a Project Manager to deliver the following projects:
Responsible for implementing:
-Space truss project for AIRKRAFT MUSEUM IN ALMAZA with area 8144 m2 including all civil works for the foundations and Columns.
-INTERTRADE factory in Tenth of Ramadan city, consists of (SPACE TRUSS WITH SPAN 60M, Area=3600m2, waffled slab 3600m2 with load capacity(1.0ton/m2 ) including finishing and Electromechanical works.
-Space truss for Travco Company in Sharm El Sheikh, including all civil works.
-Renovation the German Embassy in Cairo, including finishing, electromechanical modifications, wooden works, civil works, steel works and insulations.
-Swiss institute at Zamalek, New Building as an Extension of the existing one, including piles and raft foundation, all civil activities, finishing and electromechanical works, also renovation of the Existing Building.
-Complete demolish and Renovation of GIZ Head Offices at Zamalek.
-Renovation/modifications of the German Embassy and the Residence of German Ambassador in Algeria, for The German Foreign Ministry- (Civil, architectural, electromechanical works), including supervision of the German Sub-contractors for special activities. Consultant: KRV Buero in Germany, Client: Germany Foreign Ministry (Das deutsche Auswärtige Amt)
-TRAVCO Co. New storage building in Abu-Rawash, consists of 4 stories each 4150m2 including underground tanks.
-Nour El-Salam Palace House-in Aswan for Aghakhan Foundation-Area2000m2 Turnkey project
i would put only one project from the a.m projects under spot, this one is Implementation of the German Embassy and Residence of German Ambassador in ALGERIA, which need a real Self-motivated P.M and where the client was The German Foreign Ministry, and the General consultant was one of the biggest offices in Germany.
This project was Turn Key one, and we worked under stress because of the sensitive location and client of the project, as usual we were committed for time frame and Quality. i was responsible for coordinating between all Egyptian, German and Algerian subcontractors, also to order the required material (Purchasing Order Request) in the due time, where a lot of material has to be imported from Germany, which take an up normal time to be delivered to site.
For my company side, my first interest is to implement according to the budget plan, and to submit the claims in time to keep my company rights. This Project was one of most successful projects for all parties from all sides, therefore i am proud of implementing and delivering this special one.
